Mayas pov:

Everything was going great for my little family, Carina was due to give brith any day now, Ellie's birthday was less than 3 months away, baby is all healthy.

The one thing I am worried about is Ellie. I'm not sure how she's going to handle the change around the house.

Me and Carina are planning something to make her feel extra loved on her birthday, just incase she's feeling lonely.

I'm really worried for when carina does go into labor. We've never really left her alone, if we did it was only got a couple of hours, but this time it would be at least  a day.

I know she's a big girl or whatever but I'm her mom, I'm going to worry.

Me and carina decided on leaving her with two or three of our closest friends to watch her over however long it takes.

Carina opted for Amelia, so we decided she can pick the other one or two, to give her a little bit of control over the situation.

"Nineteen! Line up!" I shouted through the barn, Ellie standing right next to me.

"So, as you know, carina is about to pop any day now. So that means el is going to need someone to watch her. Today, she will pick" I grinned at all of the fearful faces of my team.

I watched as Ellie proudly walked over to the first contestant eyeing him.

"Hmm. Uncle Jack. Hair looks nice, shirt tucked in- oooh. Mustard stain on the shirt. NEXT" she giggled. I could tell she was having way to much fun with this.

"Auntie Vic, you look nice. Shirt tucked in, no STAINS." She said, glaring at Jack. "Okay! You are a maybe." She said, quickly skipping over to Travis.

"Uncle trav, maybe" she grinned.

"WHATT! No fair!" Jack Shouted from the reject pile.

"Very very fair" Travis said, a huge smile plastered on his face.

"Indeed. Auntie Andy. I would pick you... BUT. You told on me when I took two cookies instead of one at pru's party. NOPE."

"Uncle dean. Ah ah ah. Your shirt isn't tucked in. Tsk tsk tsk. Maybe next time" she said shrugging.

"And then there was two." She said, turning toward Travis and Vic.

"Mommy, who would you pick?" She asked raising her eyebrows at me. Why am I scared of a little girl. MY little girl?!?

"Oh- uh. Probably both.." I suggested, trying to play it safe.

"Hmm. Okay! Uncle Travis, auntie Vic. your hired!" She giggled, skipping back over to me.

"Okay! So Travis, Vic. You will be pared with Amelia okay?" I asked, both of them nod quickly.

"Okay! GO DO CHORES OR SOMETHING!" Ellie shouts as all of my team scurry away in a rush for find something to do.

"When did you get so scary" I chuckled.

"I don't know" she giggled, shrugging her shoulders.

Ellie eventually wandered off, probably to terrorize my team, when jack approached me.

"You know, she really is like Carina" he chuckled.
Before I could even answer we hear, "what's that supposed to mean?" From behind us. We both turn around slowly to find Carina and Ellie standing side by side, the same expression plastered on their faces, and arms crossed.

"Si, Jack. What's that supposed to mean?" Carina says, raising one eyebrow.

"I'll pray for you buddy" I whisper in his ear before walking into my office.

On second thought, I may not have to be so scared for her.
