i just told my friend shit i never tell anyone and now i regret it lmao anyway enjoy

i squinted as i concentrated, trying hard to keep the eyeliner pen still and my hands from shaking so that i didn't stab billie in the eye.

i sat back eagerly to see my handiwork- and immediately pouted when i realized the little star i'd been trying to make just looked like a blob.

"aw, baby, you did so good!" billie cheered, pulling me onto her lap. she rested her head on my shoulder and looked at me through the mirror.

my lip quivered and i burst into tears, covering my face to muffle my sobs.

"oh, lovey shhhh, hey, what's wrong?" billie soothed, bouncing her knee up and down. she gently pulled my hands from my face and turned me around on her lap.

"i b-bads at m-makeup," i cried, rubbing my eyes.

"hey, no you aren't. you just need a little practice my love, nobody starts good. and you tried so many things you've never done before- for a first try, this is really good!" billie leaned back a little and pointed at her face and made a funny expression.

i giggled a little at my horrendous makeup job, finding it more humorous now. billie smiled, looking satisfied. i didn't bother to mention i was laughing at her makeup rather than the face she had made.

"there you go. now, can you take it off for me so we can cuddle and i won't ruin all your hard work?" she asked, grabbing her makeup wipes out of a drawer and passing one to me.

"okay. close eyes," i ordered, waiting for her to obey before i gently wiped all the makeup off. it took me a bit because i was being extra careful not to hurt billie.

"there, all dones!" i said proudly, tossing the makeup wipe into the garbage. it missed by a foot and i pouted, which billie chuckled lightly at.

she scooped me into her arms as she stood up and bent down carefully to grab the makeup wipe off the floor and toss it where it belonged. i sighed contentedly and nuzzled into her shoulder.

billie placed her hand on my head and rubbed it. "what do you want for lunch, pretty girl?" she asked, making her way to the kitchen.

"hot dogs!" i exclaimed, throwing my hands up in the air in my excitement.

billie smiled and set me on the counter. "okay, baby, sit there and look pretty and i'll cook us some veggie dogs," she said, turning around to grab them out of the freezer.

"no!" i crossed my arms over my chest. "wan hot dogs, not veggie dogs!" i whined.

billie pursed her lips and turned back to me. "bunny, i don't have hot dogs. i'm vegan, remember?"

i huffed. "i not. wan hot dogs," i grumbled, pouting at her.

billie sighed, and placed her hands on either side of me, looking up at me seriously. "gwen, i know you want hot dogs, but i don't have any right now. is there anything else you want or should i make us veggie dogs?" she said sternly, holding eye contact.

i whined and kicked my legs against her. she didn't react, just continued to hold my eyes in hers. or at least try, because i kept looking away.

finally, i decided it wasn't worth a punishment so i sighed and looked down.

"okay," i mumbled.

billie smiled and grabbed my cheek gently, then quickly placed a kiss on my forehead before she turned around to get back to making us lunch.

she passed me the buns and condiments so that i could get it ready while she warmed up the veggie dogs. i put mine on a plate but only put ketchup on it.
