TW Self harm mentioned in this chapter if that's not your cup of tea just kind of skip the chapter there's not anything too important

I ran across the field avoiding the flowers and I smelled tears. Aspen looked confused and concerned that I left.

Winston wanted to follow but I didn't allow him too.

Why did Julia go to the woods?

That's when I smelled blood. I ran faster changing into my wolf form. Following Julias smell I looked at her. She was laying down on the dirt. She was clutching her knees to her chest.

"Julia what's wrong." I saw a drip of blood from her arm but I wasn't sure where. "Julia what's wrong?" I repeated , worried.

"Nothing" she said quickly getting up but something slipped from her hand. It was a small sharp knife.

"Julia.." I looked at her arm scars she had been hiding. I don't even know how. Maybe I thought they were other injuries. I hugged her and kissed her on the forehead. "You're okay, don't worry" I sat her down on the log she had been sitting on. I grabbed the knife and put it in my back pocket.

"I'm sorry i didn't mean to it just kind of started and now it's the only way i can deal with those"

"It's not the only way, you can get rid of the thought they will take time but i can help and if you want Rose and Aspen would help im sure of it"

"I know they would but I'm weak. I don't want to seem weaker than I have been." She put her head on my shoulder and I grabbed her arm. Placing a small bandage over the cut. It wasn't big. I had caught her in the middle of it I guess. I looked up at her and pushed her hair out of her face.

"What's going on?" Aspen said angrily. He looked at me with a pulsing anger. I got up quickly looking at Julia for a quick second.

"She got injured tripping, she was chasing a rabbit" Aspen's anger calmed down as I stepped away but he cared about his overprotective ass.

"Who do you think you are, as far as i know she's not yours.'' I said angrily.

"What!" Aspen said looking angry "im- im just trying to protect her" he lied.

"Well if you were then you wouldn't be so badly overprotective protecting her doesn't mean not letting her have freedom, do you know why she got drunk? She was probably overwhelmed and you probably did it '' Julia guiltily nodded as I saw her in the back of my vision. "Look Aspen if you really wanted to protect her you would get your damn emotions under control because anger issues aren't the way to protect anyone."

"Anala.."

"Anala you have no right to say any of this, you can't force yourself into this, this is between me and Julia and i think Julia can say anything she needs herself"

"Just go worry about Rose, that's who you love anyways" Julia said angrily "you never cared for me you liar, cheater, player, angry freak!" Julia let out. if she was a wolf right now. she would be growling. "But no we were not exclusive, dating, i'm not yours go worry about Rose, because i'm free." That's when she pulled me to her and kissed me. Aspen Growled but quieted

"I'm sorry, that was.. That was unnecessary." she said when Aspen ran off.

"No, it's fine,'' I said, astonished "It got him to go away and he won't be as protective. '' Julia nodded slowly at my words but I could tell she was exhausted.

"I don't want to go back but we have to set up a tent for the night"

"We can have a slumber party over here, i'll grab the tent and Winston, Rose can keep Aspen company

"Yeah.. I miss Craang. He could have kept Aspen company and gotten into him.." she said as I walked up the hill, I still had the sharp object in my pocket so Julia couldnt use it.

"Hey Anala '' Rose said Weakly i was glad she was able to talk. I walked over to her and examined the injury, it was a slight purple tint but it was definitely not killing her right now. I put Rose onto a blanket and Winston helped me set up the tent.

I then walked back to the woods, "we will be back tomorrow" i kept WInston beside me and held him close when we got back. She was laying on the ground. For a second I thought she had done something but then I realized she was just looking at the sky.

Me and Winston set up the tint and we went in to comfy it up a bit. When Julia came in it was already dark. Aspen had come once to tell us to not light any fires and give us some beef jerky for dinner. I shared all of mine with Winston and I suspect Julia did the same.
