Another short chapter but, new perspective!

Pov Craang

I walked around the bend into the wilderness. Something was wrong I slightly knew. I looked around once more trying to find what. I keep holding the shotgun in my hand. Ever since the heroes left this place has been feeling off. I grabbed a few sticks and stuck them in my bag. We needed a lot of wood for our bonfire tonight. I smiled and whistled. Skipping down the path. Many people cut down some trees at the edge of their village. It was where the humans met up with all the goblins and partied like they never have before.

I had a job to do tonight. To check on the population of humans. To see exactly how many people. There was a population increase and only 50 babies were born this year. I looked at the charts. The elves had magic to grow the trees back but I guess the humans realized that wasn't happening anymore.

I looked closely at the fallen logs for the festival. Some of me felt guilty but the elves had tried to steal the village and kill off the goblins. Half of the world thinks we have vanished. Few of the humans knew of us but now the blood wolves knew. I met them. Anala and Winston were the nicest of the bunch the halflings knew as well but both never talked to much of the world anyways. Newlings were born everyday and the humans. My son was born just yesterday. The goblin population was growing which made me so much happier but the death of Singapore, a man on the council, was tragic.

"You're going to go to his place, Craang" the leader of the council said to me. "You deserve it for all your work" I remembered. As I walked and gathered sticks and twigs I looked around once more. I smelled something awful. Was it smoke? I felt a rumbling from the earth and ran. The man grabbed me and sniffed me. It was the bloodwolves chief.

"This is THY GOBLIN" the man yelled with rage. "Where did you take my daughter? Where is she?" he held me tightly, not letting me go. As a goblin I had to save my tribe as well as the humans. They couldn't get any closer.

"They are going to dark wolves territory to get the next hero but sir.. Your daughter is not captured, she let us go herself sir."

"Don't feed me such lies. If I go to the dark wolves' territory and don't find them, I will come back and kill you and finish off you pesky goblins!" He said "I will take that baby boy that I smell on your clothes and kill him for you taking my kin!"

"I promise if you go fast you will find them" I said , fear running through me now. This could in two ways end up very badly for me. I had thought they were already there but my family could be gravely injured because of my choice in the matter. The horse left and so did the small army of bloodwolves and their horses. I'm so sorry, Heroes. I said looking back were they left.i quickly scurried away off the way i came
