"Division X?" I questioned as I got out of the car with Erik in front of me. A girl that calls herself Raven gets out of the other side of car and walks around to stand next to Charles.

"Yes, this is it." A lady, Agent Moria MacTaggert, said getting out of the car from the drivers side.

Charles, Erik, Moria, Raven, and I walked into the building and met with another agent that showed us around the facility. Agents roamed the halls and it put me on edge, but Erik calmed me down by giving me a reassuring look.

"My mission here has been to investigate the application of paranormal powers in military defense." The agent said as we entered a room that was built like an airplane hangar.

"Or offense." Erik replied.

"This guy Shaw, Schmidt, whatever you want to call him, he's working with the Russians." The agent continued. "We might need your help to stop them."

"Marvelous," Charles said as he turned towards the agent. "So, we're to be the CIA's new mutant division, yes?"

"Something like that." The male agent replied with a shrug of his shoulders. A young man stepped forward and motioned to the model of planes above him.

"It's a supersonic. The most advanced plane ever built. You should see it in real life. It's incredible." The boy said placing his hands in his lab coat pockets.

"Hank, these are the special new recruits I was telling you about." Hank bowed his head towards us as the agent continued. "This is Hank McCoy, one of our most talented researchers."

He seemed really young to be working for the CIA, but who am I to judge? I smiled towards the boy and he returned it, but looked right back towards Raven.

"How wonderful," Charles said. "Another mutant, already here. Why didn't you say?" MacTaggert and the male agent looked over at him confused by what he was saying.

"Say what?" The agent replied.

"Because you don't know. I am so, so terribly sorry." Charles said sincerely as he looked grimly at Hank.

"Hank?"

"You didn't ask so I didn't tell." The teen said while looking down towards the floor.

"So your mutation is what? You're super-smart?" Raven asked looking over Hanks face in amazement.

"I'll say," The Charles stepped forward to Hank and placed his hand on is shoulder. "Hank here graduated from Harvard at the age of fifteen."

"I wish that's all it was." He said below his breath.

"You're among friends now, Hank. You can show off." Charles encouraged him on.

The young scientist proceeded to remove his shoes and socks to revile ape like feet, which was disturbing and slightly amazing. Charles chuckled and shook his head in amusement.

"Splendid." Charles said as Hank asked if they could move out of the way. The teen stood below the model jet and did a flip to reach up with his mutated feet to grab the edge of the wing and hold on to be hanging upside down from it.

I looked up at his feet and toes a little amazed while Erik looked like it disgusted him to witness that. Raven stepped forward with a smile on her face, happy that Hank wasn't afraid to show these new people his mutation.

"You're amazing." The young blonde said to him as he asked if she was being sincere. Her smile grew on her face and Hank smiled back.

"Great team they got here." I said to Erik as I turned around to look at all the other scientists running around.

"You aren't staying?" He asked still facing the model airplane.

"I don't know yet. If they can show that they aren't afraid to get a little blood on their hands then I might consider it." I smiled and slipped my hands into my jacket pockets. "You?"

"I'm leaving as soon as I get what I want." Erik said walking away.
