Cassandra stood still next to the desk watching as Sebastian Shaw pointed the same gun that fired a bullet at her mother at the boy's mother before the both of them.

"Try it again, Erik." Shaw said angered. The boy outstretched his arms towards the Nazi coin placed on the desk next to Cassandra.

She looked forward as Erik tried his hardest to save his mothers life and please the man that sat in front of him. Shaw counted up slowly from one as Erik looked back to his mother who spoke words of encouragement towards him.

Cassandra stiffened as the man holding the gun got closer and closer to three and closer to pulling the trigger and letting the bullet strike the lady on the other side of the room.

It soon came and Cassandra flinched as the round bullet hit the boy's mother and she fell from the grip of the soldiers. Erik dropped his arms to his side as his face softened then anger washed over him.

The boy raised his arms again and yelled at the top of lungs as he crushed the metal cabinet on the other side of the desk and the bell set next to Cassandra.

"Wonderful!" Shaw called out.

The boy turned around and held his hands out to the helmets of the guards and smashed them as well. He then proceeded to manipulate the metal surgery materials in the room conjoined to the one they were standing in.

Cassandra looked over at Shaw and saw a smile spread across his face as he stood up and walked over to the boy. Erik had calmed down and started to weep at the lost of his mother.

Sebastian set his arm across the shoulders of the boy and moved him forward as Cassandra followed closely behind the two into the surgery room as Shaw spoke to Erik.

"You and I are going to have some fun, Erik. We will help you find your full potential and unleash it," Shaw said turning around and telling Cassandra to step forward. "This is Cassandra, she will be going through the same process as you. The two of you will be close."

And he was right. Erik and Cassandra became friends fast. She told him what she could do and vice versa. After each experiment on one of them, the other would comfort them and speak words of kindness and tell them that they will soon leave this place.

A promise was made between the young children over the years they were held at the concentration camp. It goes like this: 'We will not use our powers on one another.' They never did and hopefully they never will in their future together.

Prologue done, now it is time to get on to the real action!!!

[If you do not know Cassandra's powers it is like she can see and show someone's future and past, but twist it a little. Also, she can move objects with her mind, kinda like Jean Gray, but not really.]
