A sharp shiver raced down Hermione's spine while millions of goosebumps rolled over her skin. Her chest started to heave where all that filled her head was the sweet, alluring scent that permeated from the strange letter she had just opened.

"Oh my..." she gasped.

Her creature was spinning frantically in its cage, growing more and more desperate for the smell. It thrashed its claws and gnashed its sharp teeth.

Holy shit! More. Give me more! I need MORE!!

Instead of actually trying to see what was written inside of it, the witch crumpled the letter in her hand pressed firmly to her nose. Hermione took in a deep inhale and allowed her eyes to roll to the back of her head.

"Uhh, Hermione?" Ginny's voice was laced with concern.

Blaise tore his eyes from the Gryffindor to find that Draco was in no better shape than her. The blonde had snapped a hand to cover his nose and mouth. His blood colored eyes began to glow a menacing shade of crimson.

"Malfoy?"

Draco spoke through the spaces of his claw-tipped hand and snarled in malicious anger. "It's the letter!"

"What about it?" Ginny asked frantically.

"It's written in blood," he hissed. Malfoy pulled himself up from the table and tried to put some distance between him and the smell that was consuming his senses. "Someone take that fucking thing away from Hermione!"

Hermione's eyes snapped open, revealing two unworldly colored eyes. The scent of the blood was enough to burn through the glamor Zabini had set in place for her. Her gaze blazed with undying want. Every fiber in her being practically screamed at her to literally devour the piece of parchment.

"Granger," Blaise stared bravely at the feral look in her eyes. "Hand me the letter."

Mione twitched like a wild animal being cornered by a larger predator. With the letter still pressed to her face, she shook her head. "No," she muttered.

"Mione, somethings not right. Give Zabini the letter," Ginny told her softly.

" No! " Hermione's voice dropped to a deep unnatural tone before swiftly returning back to its regular octave. "I can't," she whimpered.

The corners of her eyes glistened with tears. Her hands were trembling uncontrollably.

"M-My creature...it won't let me," she told them weakly. Hermione took another deep inhale and closed her eyes in euphoric bliss. "It smells like candy and lust. Mmm...It's making me warm..."

Draco's eyes widened when the scent hit him like a slap to the face. It wasn't just the smell of the blood covered parchment that was driving him to the brink of insanity...it was the luscious smell of Hermione's arousal that caused his own creature to thrash inside of his chest.

"Bloodlust," he grunted under his breath.

Malfoy closed the distance between him and the witch. He came up behind her and sank his hand through her unruly hair. With a slight tug of his wrist, he yanked her head back until she was staring up at him.

The white's of his eyes were almost completely taken over by black obsidian pools. His fangs extended past his bottom lip when he opened his mouth to speak.

"Drop. The. Letter," Draco snarled.

Hermione's eyes burned red as she hissed and mewled under her staggered breath. Her creature whimpered and recoiled at the sight of Malfoy's seething anger. With what little willpower she still possessed, she tore the parchment from her face.
