Chapter 2: Trouble.

7 years later

I was now 24, living my best life with my friends. One of my closest friends was Yoo Jeongyeon, she was a real prankster but when it came to caring she was no.1.

Jeongyeon had invited me over to meet some of her friends and have fun all together. Not in her house, in a club. I was looking forward to it I'm not gonna lie so I quickly washed myself and dressed up.

Gladly Jeongyeon would come over to pick me up with her car. I noticed the hour and walked out of my house towards the road where Jeongyeon would pick me up.

"Yoooo! Yoo Jeongyeon is here!" I exclaimed happily as I got in to the car. I did a handshake with her like we always did and hugged her.

"How is it going Y/N? I've invited your girl Momo as well so you won't be alone." Jeongyeon said playfully and winked at me.

"Hmm you're so thoughtful, thank you.." I mouthed. Jeongyeon started driving towards the club which was located in the centre of Seoul.

Few minutes had passed and we were there. Jeongyeon parked the car and we got out ready to meet Jeongyeon's friends. There they were...

"Hello I'm Tzuyu!" Tzuyu said with a slight bow.

"And I'm... NAYEON!!" Nayeon exclaimed like a little kid who just got a candy. "I'm also Jeongyeon's girlfriend.." Nayeon added nudging Jeongyeon's shoulder to tease her while Jeongyeon sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Nice to meet you I'm Y/N, Jeongyeon's friend." I introduced myself and bowed at them as well.

As we chatted with each other Momo showed up with their other friend. I looked at both of them, Momo was stunning but their friend looked familiar.

"Omg Y/N you're here?!" Momo gasped in shock when she saw me there too.

"Yes of course I'm here.." I replied and hugged her tightly not letting her go. Momo gave me a sweet kiss on the cheek while my eyes led on the friend-group's friend again. A moment later we pulled apart and Momo introduced me to their friend.

"This is our friend Chaeyoung.." Momo said and my eyes widen when she mentioned that name, I thought I was dreaming what is she doing here anyway. "Chaeyoung this is my girlfriend Y/N." Momo added.

For a brief moment I wanted to do the typical handshake and greet each other like how normal people do but I stepped back and just bowed at her. She did the same and didn't say anything either.

"Oh I forgot to mention that me and Chaeyoung are together guys.." Tzuyu then chimed in, making me look at her in shock once again. At least I was glad she moved on from me and she was finally happy with someone else.

The other cheered them on so did Momo while I was just quiet like Chaeyoung. We kept glancing at each other but didn't interacted, it was like we had built a wall between us.

Chaeyoung's pov

As the minutes passed, the more our glances became longer and longer. I couldn't help but look at you, my chest started to heat up more and more. I couldn't help but blush at the sight of you again.

I just stayed quiet as well, I didn't know what to say and I didn't want the tension to get worse between us.

A part of me wanted to talk to you again like how it used to be. I smiled at you after glancing away for a few moments hoping you noticed.

"Shall we go inside now?" you asked the girls while having your hand wrapped around Momo's waist keeping her close to you.

"Yes!" Tzuyu replied to you and nodded before entering the club. Momo and the other girls followed suit as they were getting excited to go.

I was still holding a small smile on my face as I followed the group. I finally decided to walk closer to you and try to talk with you again.

"Is it okay if I talk to you?" I whispered to you so none of the girls could hear. My smile was still on my face as I waited for your answer. Fortunately no one noticed my approach.

"Can we do that later they're still near.. I don't want them to know that we know each other." you said while walking behind them following them wherever they wanted to take a seat and leave their things.

I nodded, "Sure I understand.." we sat together as everyone was sitting with their friends on the same table. Some of them were already talking with each other. I tried to avoid the glances between us. Momo was looking at me as she noticed. I looked down and fiddled with my skirt. I couldn't help but feel embarassed in front of them.

The DJ starts playing an upbeat song, all of us were dancing together. I smiled as I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Momo, and the others were still dancing while we stayed seated and watched them from the table. Now I was starting to dance as well, the beat of the song was great. You were there still looking at me. I couldn't help the urge to go to you and pull you to the floor to dance.

I looked at you and walked over to you. I grabbed your hands and put it on my waist, I smiled as I looked into your eyes to tell you to come dance with me.

"What the hell are you doing!?" you asked with a confused gaze as you pulled me to the side so no one could see us.

I looked at you and laughed, "Oh come on! It's just dancing, you don't want others to know but they have their owns couples and what not here. Why not dance with me?" I tried to persuade you with a smile on my face, I wanted to dance with you again.

"We were together weren't we?" I said and lifted your arms to place it back on my waist.

"Yeah that's the whole point we WERE a couple and now we have our own relationships.." you replied more serious this time.

"Just a couple of dances, I mean they wouldn't mind" I replied to you as I pulled you back into the dance floor.

"Just do this with me and you can go back to Momo later" I smiled and looked into your eyes as you looked down not responding to me at all. You still had your feelings for me and I knew it. I just wanted to make you happy again. "Come on, please!" I pleaded.

As you were about to answer Momo found us. "Omg Y/N I was looking for you everywhere.." Momo said holding your drink as well before handing it to you. "I'm glad you're getting along with my friend Chaeyoung here.." Momo added and patted your head gently.

"Yeah yeah.. She's alright I guess.." you mouthed, acting like you weren't in relationship with me before, because Momo was in front.

I smiled as you acted with Momo "Thank you! We are getting along just fine. I mean we are just dancing, there's no harm to that right?" I said to Momo

I looked at you as you looked down and I could see your red face. I knew that you were acting in the front of Momo and trying to hide your true emotions. I held you closer to me as the music continued to played, I smiled and looked at you again.
