Chapter 47: Turtle.

When you two entered the house, you saw Miss Son. She welcomed you both in and y'all sat on the living room. "Where is Jeonghoon?" you asked Miss Son. As soon as Binna heard that name her eyes widen.

"J-Jeonghoon?" Binna said while she tilted her head. She was looking at you with a worried and tense look on her face.

"Do you know Jeonghoon, unnie?" she asked in a nervous tone, she was looking at you as if she wanted some explanation or something.

She took a deep breath and looked at you again, she wanted to know more about this.

"Yeah she's Chaeyoung's brother.. how do you know him?" you asked when all of a sudden Jeonghoon came into the living room.

"Hello- woah.." he said and his eyes went immediately on Binna. As soon as he saw her he ran upstairs like he was scared of her or hiding something.

"I'll go check up on him.." Miss Son said and went upstairs to see what's going on.

"Binna do you know Jeonghoon?" you asked curiously yet worriedly. Binna was a little bit shocked by how Jeonghoon reacted when he saw her, but she continued looking at you while trying to explain what was happening.

"Uhmm... I don't know if you'd believe me... But Jeonghoon is actually my daddy..." she said in a shy tone.

You could tell that Binna was really scared about talking about this, but she finally told what was happening with her and Jeonghoon. She didn't seem so excited about meeting the family anymore.

"Jeonghoon is Mina's bodyguard?" you asked. Now all the dots were connected. Why Binna looked so much like Chaeyoung and why Binna acted like that when she heard his name.

"Yes... My mommy... She is not the best mommy I can have, I mean, she doesn't give me love and she doesn't play with me..." she said with a really sad tone.

You could tell that she was starting to feel worried and scared when she talked about her mother, but she continued speaking anyway.

"You can ask Jeonghoon, he will tell you... Jeonhgoon gives me the love my mommy doesn't give to me..." she said, it seemed like she really loved Jeonghoon as if he was her real dad.

You nodded and got upstairs to talk with Jeonghoon. You told Miss Son to go downstairs to keep an eye on Binna. "Son Jeonghoon open the door I wanna talk to you." you exclaimed knocking at his door.

You heard a few noises coming from Jeonghoon's room like if he was moving some things around... Then, finally, he opened the door and he looked at you with a serious face.

"What do you want?" he asked in a cold tone, he looked kinda angry and he refused to leave you enter to the room.

"What is the relationship you have with Binna? She told me you were her dad..." you said without hesitation, you needed to find out the truth.

Jeonghoon looked at you and he stayed silent for a few seconds. Then he finally sighed and he told you the truth.

"Yes, Binna is my daughter... Mina gave her to me when she couldn't take care of her... But I couldn't take care of her all the time. So me and Mina fought one night and she took her from me and abandoned her..." he said while he looked at you with a really sad tone and eyes that seemed to be close to cry.

You noticed that he really loved Binna and he loved taking care of her. He was so sweet to her. Like a great dad. "You know that me and your sister are gonna adopt her? She doesn't wanna go back for good." you said as you closed the door behind.

Jeonghoon stayed silent for a few seconds, but then he nodded slowly at you.

"She can live with you... I tried my best to take care of her, but she deserves a better mother for sure... I feel so sorry for making her suffer like this..." he finally said while a few tears rolled down his cheeks.
