Time skip (3 years later/ award show)
Chaeyoung had a huge glow up becoming a pop star both in South Korea and international. There were some nominees in Korea that Chaeyoung was participating in for the best female artist of the year, solo of the year, album of the year and song of the year.
You in the other side were in the audience watching the performances and stuff. Many people had recognised you as 'Chaeyoung's best friend' because she often posted pictures of you together but not much to reveal your marriage or that you had a daughter.
Chaeyoung's dating ban was over and you could easily make your marriage official to the fans but you preferred not to because of yours and Binna's safety from the obsessive fans out there.
As the awards kept on going, Chaeyoung had already won the best female artist of the year, solo of the year and song of the year. You cheered her on the entire time as you now were waiting for her speech to the audience.
She was holding many trophies on her hands as she was just looking at the crowd, she was smiling and she couldn't hold back her tears anymore as she was truly happy for all of this.
Chaeyoung then stopped and she started to speak.
"Hello, everyone... I really don't know where do I even begin... I feel happy, overwhelmed, thankful and blessed to be here..." she said as her tone was shaky for all of the emotions she had inside of her.
"Thanks to all the people who made this possible and most importantly, thanks to the fans who believed in me..." she mouthed with a lot of honesty in her words.
"I could not forget the most important person in my entire life," she added with a bright smile while she looked down at her left ring finger and then she looked back at the crowd.
"She is one of the reasons of why I am here today and she was also the one who helped me to do everything she could do to finally take this step forward," she continued and she was making a reference to your secret marriage, you were all red at this point but you were happy to hear all of those words.
"I love you, Y/N," she said with a shy look on her face.
The crowd went crazy with this announcement, they all screamed and some even started to cry. It was really an unexpected moment but a super sweet one.
Chaeyoung now had a smile on her lips, she was still a little bit shocked but happy regardless.
"Y/N, is now time to celebrate our victory.. This awards are ours!" she said while looking at you, there was no one else she wanted to celebrate this moment but you.
The stage was all hers, you were now watching her celebrating her victory on stage but you still couldn't believe your eyes.
She won every award and she was now going back to a small break room for artists where she was gonna do a small interview.
You were invited to go there with her to watch her answer some questions but you already knew her answers because you know her pretty well at this point.
There was a small table in the corner of the room and a few sofa to sit around it, you both were sitting there waiting for her to enter.
You weren't comfortable being on spotlight so you preferred to just stay behind the cameras and watch the interview from there. Chaeyoung was already sitting there as the interview started. You couldn't take your eyes off her but you didn't wanna distract her either and mess the interview.
"So fans say that your dating ban is over is that true?" the interviewer asked Chaeyoung as he kept a list with questions from fans.
"Well, the answer to that is a yes but I prefer not to speak about it if it's not a problem for all the fans out there," Chaeyoung said with a big smile on her face and she was now trying to be professional.
