Two sides, One heart

~Chapter 24~

I was walking to the football field not knowing what to expect. I was a little cold but when I saw Damian waiting at the bleachers everything just faded away. It was only him that I saw and at that moment I knew I really have fallen for the bad boy football player.

I walked over to him hugging my body while smiling at him.

He noticed I was cold and within seconds he had his jacket wrapped around my shoulders.

"What are we doing here Damian?" I asked.

"Were taking a walk threw memory land" he said smiling at me and he grabbed my hand.

"What do you mean?" I asked not really understanding what was happening.

"Just you wait Amy, you will soon see what I mean." Damian said starting to walk farter on the football field.

A few seconds of walking and he stopped which made me almost bump into him.

"Amy on this very spot was the first time I really noticed you. We had that time in the hall but I didn't think anything special of you but when you jumped me on this very spot. I thought you were crazy but you were also different from the rest." Damian said.

I laughed at him and he smiled back at me.

"Amy I want to ask you something and you can say no if you want to but I really hope you don't" Damian said.

"What is it Damain?" I asked getting kind of worried.

"Amy you are coming to the prom here on oak hills but will you do me the honor of being my date to it?" He asked and getting a flower from his backpack.

"Damian" I said giving him a soft smile.

"What do you say Amy?" He asked with so much hope in his eyes. Those eyes I could get lost in for hours and try but never get out of.

"I would love to be your date to prom" I said jumping in his arms for a big old hug.

He started to spin me around and we started laughing. He put me back down and looked at me.

"Thank you Amy" he said getting a little serious.

"For what?" I asked.

"For being my rock, for the care you give me and my family and for a second chance." He looks in my eyes with so many emotions that I couldn't place them all.

"Don't thank me Damian, I am happy to" I said smiling and hugging him again.

"Now come on lets get you some ice cream and then i will drop you off home" he said starting to walk to the parking lot.

"YES ICE CREAMM" I yelled like a little kid but I don't care, I really don't.

We got to my house and I invited him inside not really wanting him to leave just yet.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" I asked him.

He nodded his head at me and kept looking around.

"You really have a lovely home" he said smiling.

"Thank you, my mom really likes colors so in every corner of this house you will find it" I said while walking over to the kitchen to get some drinks and some popcorn.

"So what movie we watching?" He asked while helping me with making the popcorn.

"I don't really mind you pick" I said grabbing something to drink.

"Okay sure" he started walking back to the living room with the popcorn in his hand.

I walked over there with the drinks and set them down on the table.
