Two sides, One heart

~Chapter 31~

It is prom day today. Me and Jack are getting ready at my house because that is what we decided to do last minute. I am so excited for today but also very nervouse for tomorrow. Tomorrow Damian is going up against his dad and I would be lying if my mind hasn't been thinking about it.

"Amy can you fix my hair, Logan will be here in 5 minutes!" Jack said trying to fix his hair himself.

"Come here" I told him and he sat down infront of me on the chair.

I grabbed a brush and started brushing his hair.

"You look amazing by the way Am" Jack said looking at me threw the mirror.

"Why thank you Jackie" I said smiling.

The doorbell rang and Jack jumped out of the chair. He looked at himself one more time in the mirror and smiled.

I laughed at what he was doing, I started to put my heels on while I heard Mr. Williams yell that the boys are here.

"Come on Amy, let's go to this prom!" Jack yelled while walking threw the door.

I got my bag and walked after him. When I came walking down the stairs there I saw him, brown hair, hazel colored eyes and a black suit with a purple tie to match my dress. While I looked him up and down, he did so too.

When I reached the end of the stairs, he walked over to me, grabbed my hand and placed a light kiss on it.

"You look breathtaking sweetheart" he said looking at me.

I felt a blush come on my cheeks but I tried to look away a little for him not to see.

"You don't look to bad yourself" I said playing with his tie a little.

He smirked at me and pulled me closer to his side, he looked me deep into my eyes until they slowly came to my lips. I smiled and moved in closer to his face, our lips touched and it felt like heaven.

We pulled away and looked at the others in the room. Jack and Logan were laughing together which brought a smile onto my face.

"Okay picture time" Mrs. Williams said walking in and holding a camera.

She first took pictures of Jack and Logan and then she moved to me and Damian. Then we all took some pictures together and then decided it was time to go. The boys lead us to the car, it was Logans dads car. It was a beautiful car, really.

We got in and Logan started driving to oak hills.

We arrived at the school and it was so busy with students walking around. It was kinda weird for us as River Valleys joining these proms but we might as well make the best of it.

We got out and we looked around to find the others, when we found them, we were ready to party.

Walking in brought a different feeling now, it wasn't the horrible school, sure some of oak hills students are just terrible but I have learned that we shouldn't jugde people by how they look but we should know them first before we can jugde.

We walked into the gym where the prom was held and I couldn't believe my eyes, fairy lights were everywhere and so much more. Photobooths, votings, wall of memories and of course the DJ with the big colored dance floor.

I felt Damian grab my hand and lead me to the dance floor, I look behind me to see Jack smirking and waving me bye. I smiled back and let Damian lead me to our dance spot.
