They lay on the bed, Fehlina resting her head on Thorin's chest.
She runs her fingers across his upper body while he's stroking her hair.

"Will you be here in the morning?" Fehlina asks.
"I don't know," Thorin answers. "I might have to get going before the sun rises."
Fehlina sighs.
"But only because I have to, if I didn't I would have loved to stay here with you." Thorin kisses her crown.
Fehlina rises her head from his strong, broad chest and finds her way up to his lips to kiss him softly, but no less sultry, lust lingering still.

They kiss for a while before she lays her head back down.
Thorin puts his arm around her, and after a while he starts humming a tune.
It's soothing and sweet, yet full of yearning, Fehlina's heart filling with sentiment for his sorrow. "What song is that?" Fehlina wants to know.
"It's called Misty Mountains," Thorin says in a low, longing voice.
"Will you sing it to me?" Fehlina asks and looks at him, his eyes shining with sadness.
"Of course," Thorin grants and smiles through the pain of old memories.

Fehlina lays her head down on the pillow beside him, looking at his chest rising and falling in a steady pace.
Thorin starts singing. It's the most beautiful song she's ever heard, though it's heavily laden with emotions of something lost.
She wants to fight the lulling spell it's casting over her, to ask him it's meaning when he's done, but before Thorin's sung the last verse, she's fallen under it's enchantment and is asleep.
