Fehlina doesn't get any rest that night. She's only been trying to come up with a plan on how to get to Thorin and how to help him, but now it's too late, the elvish army's marching towards the stone gate of Erebor.

Fehlina's in the front line of the army. She can see the dwarves standing on top of the gate, watching them.
When she spots Thorin, her heart starts racing.
Thranduil and Bard try to talk to him, showing him the Arkenstone.
The dwarves are shocked, claiming the host at their door to be thieves. Thorin doesn't believe it's real, that it's a ruse.
Bilbo, who's gotten back into Erebor, tells them it's the real Arkenstone, that he was the one who found and took it, as his thirteenth share of the treasure.
Fehlina witnesses how Thorin treats Bilbo after learning this.
Gandalf saves the hobbit just in time before Thorin almost throws him over the egde.
Fehlina can't believe her eyes, or ears.

Suddenly she's filled with adrenaline! She breaks her rank and runs towards the gate, taking off her helmet, revealing her face to Thorin.
"Thorin! You must stop this! This is madness!" she shouts.
"Fehlina!" Thranduil roars at her. "Get back in line!"
She doesn't move. She just looks up at Thorin, but he doesn't seem to recognize her.
"Thorin!" she shouts once more. "It's me, Fehlina!" She doesn't give up.
Thorin lowers his bow, having nocked and aimed an arrow at the sudden commotion.
Maybe he can trace her face after all?
Then an uproar comes from the right. An army of dwarves comes down the hill, ready to attack her kin.
