Y/N's parents watched the door swing shut as their daughter and her fiancé walked away. The air in their home felt heavy with regret and missed opportunities. They were left with a jumble of emotions, but foremost among them was anger.
As Y/N's mother slumped onto the living room couch, her face contorted with frustration. "I can't believe she spoke to us like that! After all these years, she's so ungrateful."
Y/N's father paced the room, his fists clenched. "We didn't do anything wrong by leaving her. We thought it was for the best. She couldn't possibly understand the reasons."
His wife shot him a resentful look. "But maybe we should have tried harder to explain. She's grown up with some unrealistic image of her childhood. She was too young to remember why we did it."
"Exactly," her husband agreed. "She has this idealized version of us in her head, and now she hates us for not living up to it. She doesn't understand how difficult it was for us."
Both parents felt a deep sense of frustration and disbelief. In their minds, they had convinced themselves they were making the right decision when they left their baby daughter. It was a choice they'd thought was best for her at the time.
Y/N's mother sighed, her anger starting to subside into sadness. "But seeing her again... I never thought it would be like this. I always hoped she'd be happy to see us."
Y/N's father stopped pacing and sat down next to his wife. "We'll just have to give her some time. Maybe she'll come around and understand our perspective one day."
As they sat there, they couldn't shake the feeling that they had lost their daughter once more. The hope of reconciliation they had clung to for so long had crumbled before their eyes. The anger they felt at her accusations mixed with the guilt they carried for the choices they had made.
In the end, all they could do was hope that one day, Y/N would find it in her heart to understand their reasons, and they could begin to rebuild the relationship they had lost so long ago.
As Y/N's parents sat in the quiet of their home, their thoughts turned to their daughter's fiancé, Obanai Iguro. They couldn't help but feel apprehensive about him. To them, he was an outsider who had taken their daughter away.
Y/N's mother voiced her concerns first. "I just can't believe she's with him. He doesn't seem like a suitable partner for our daughter. Did you see how he was dressed? It's all so strange."
Her husband frowned, his gaze distant. "He doesn't seem like the type to provide for her and give her the life she deserves. What if she's unhappy with him?"
Y/N's mother nodded in agreement. "Yes, and did you hear him? He yelled at us. He's so confrontational, not at all what we imagined for Y/N."
They both felt a pang of resentment toward Obanai. He had taken their daughter from them, and now he seemed to be dictating her life. They couldn't help but question his intentions and suitability as a partner for Y/N.
Her father leaned back in his chair, lost in thought. "Maybe we should have talked to her about it, tried to understand why she chose him. Maybe she's just going through a phase, and she'll realize he's not right for her."
Y/N's mother sighed, her anger and frustration mellowing into a sense of helplessness. "We can only hope that she comes to her senses eventually. We want what's best for her, after all."
They both sat in silence, clinging to the hope that Y/N would someday see things as they did. In their eyes, Obanai Iguro was an obstacle to their reconciliation with their daughter. They couldn't help but feel that he wasn't the right person for her and that he had stolen her away from them.
