Chapter 48: Introducing Baby Freya

With Obanai back to his usual duties, you had the house to yourself, along with your newborn daughter, Freya. She was a week old now, and you felt strong enough to venture out into the world again, if only briefly. It was time for your baby to meet the important people in your life.

You dressed yourself in a simple yet elegant kimono, careful not to disturb Freya, who was swaddled comfortably in a soft, warm blanket. You secured her in your arms, cradling her gently, and left the house for the first time since her birth.

As you entered the bustling world of the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters, you could already feel the warmth and curiosity of your friends and allies. You couldn't help but smile, excited to introduce them to your precious baby.

Gyomei Himejima bent down to get a closer look. "Look at those little hands," he said, his deep voice filled with warmth. "She's going to grow up strong."

Even the usually stoic Sanemi Shinazugawa couldn't help but crack a smile as he observed your daughter. "Well, she's got good genes," he grumbled, but his eyes gave away his genuine happiness for you.

Kyojuro Rengoku, always the lively one, cheered as if it was a festival. "Congratulations, Y/n! She's a bundle of joy!"

After the Hashira, you took Freya to meet the master, Kagaya Ubuyashiki. He watched the baby with an expression of serene wisdom. "A new life brings hope and happiness," he said softly. "You've created a beautiful family, Y/n."

With Freya in your arms, you visited the Butterfly Mansion next. The moment you entered, Kanao Tsuyuri, Aoi Kanzaki, and the triplets gathered around you. They marveled at your baby's unique eyes. "She's like a little piece of art," Kanao remarked.

Aoi, with her cheerful demeanor, couldn't contain her excitement. "She's going to grow up to be as amazing as her mom!"

Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado were next. The sight of your daughter seemed to fill them with nostalgia. "She's going to be strong, just like you," Tanjiro said.

Freya's eyes widened as she observed the world around her, seemingly aware of all the attention she was receiving. The room was filled with the sounds of laughter and admiration as your friends gathered around you and your baby.
