Things Are Finally Looking Up

Prolouge X-Factor Days

Lilly's POV

Today was the day, I am finally auditioning for the X-Factor... I remember posting a video about it a month ago and my fans went insane! They were so supportive and I thought, why not!? It's not like I had anything to lose. I stood in line for hours and then I registered and finally went to the waiting room. They interview me and said, "Tell us who you are and why you are here." I said, "Hi, I'm Lilly Black. I work two jobs, I am a full time University student, and a YouTuber. The reason why I decided to audition today is because I want to be able to share my story with people like me and show that they aren't alone," they motioned for me to continue, "I was actually born in England, but adopted and raised in the United States. I was always bullied because before this, I was over weight and everyone knew I was adopted and they made fun of me for not really belonging in the United States. That kept up until Junior High; seventh and eighth grade was the worst years of my life. Other than the regular teasing, I got my own personal bully and that really dropped me down further. Then, high school came, she went off to somewhere different, and things were supposed to get better, but my parents got divorced the summer after my sophomore year... It was okay because my dad was mentally abusing to both my mom and I, but the scars never really went away. My mom and her parents were killed in a car accident the day after the divorce was final... I was luckily given the chance to be on my own at age seventeen with a social worker checking on me every two weeks until I became eighteen. I graduated at the top of my class with full honors. Then, I decided it was time to forget the awful memories and move to London. I always loved the rain... Now my story continues here. I want to just share my story in hopes to let anyone know that they aren't as alone as they feel." I was tearing up by the end and a guy asked, "Was it the rain or the accents that brought you to London?" I laughed and said, "I always wanted to live in London because of the different culture and the rain, but the accents were just a perk!"

I auditioned with the a capella version of the song, "Breakaway" By Kelly Clarkson. It went really well, all the judges said yes! I got through boot camp really easily because I did dance in high school.

The Final Show
It was the dress rehearsal for the final show and One Direction, the reason for my existence was here. It was time for my rehearsal and my final song was

I was going on before them and I was singing the song, "Wings" by Little Mix. I ran through the song a few times and got it perfect. Then, I heard claps from the back of the stage and it was them! I looked at them and blushed. Liam said, "Sorry for listening in, we got here early and wanted to check out the stage..." I smiled and said, "Uh, it's okay, I was actually hoping to meet you all. Liam, Harry, Louis, Zayn, Niall.. I'm Lilly, it's really nice to meet you." I mentally smacked myself, they are just regular guys, I'm being to formal! Louis smiled he said, "Oh, we know all about you, Niall here couldn't stop talking about you ever since he watched you audition." Niall blushed and so did I. I said, "Well, I hope we can hang out sometime, I would like to get to know my heroes." They nodded in agreement, I asked, "Is it okay if I can watch you guys rehearse?" They all nodded and I said, "Thank you!" I sat in the back and they rehearsed. I saw Niall give me a wink and I blushed majorly! I was done for the day, so I was able to watch them. I saw them come back and I said, "You are all amazing!!!" I saw Perrie from Little Mix go hug Zayn and I said, "Awww!" Perrie and Zayn smiled at me and she said, "Good luck, love! I know you'll do great! Nice cover of Wings by the way!" I thanked her and then Liam asked, "So, Lilly, are you done for the day?" I nodded smiling and Niall piped up asking me, "Do you want to hang out with us for the day?" I smiled and said, "I would love to!" We all went to Nando's and had lunch. We all were waiting for our food, just talking all about the X-Factor days and I said, "I just want to thank you all... I mean, for all the things you helped me through with your music and you just being you. I never got to say thank you and I want to say it now." Niall put his arm around me and said, "You're welcome." I blushed and so did he... Our food came and they told me about the music industry and things like that; then we went back to their hotel rooms and we hung out. We started out with Truth or Dare and Louis dared Liam to hold a spoon until the end of the game. He then dared Zayn to let Harry mess up his hair. After that, Zayn had Niall tell everyone who he crushed on and he said me. I blushed majorly and then Niall dared Louis to kiss Harry and finally Louis said to me, "Truth or Dare?" I said, "Ah, why not, dare!" He smiled and said, "I dare you to go into the closet with your crush out of us for at least ten minutes!" I replied with burning cheeks, "Did I say dare, I meant truth!" He said, "Nope! Now, in the closet with one of us!!!" I was blushing and whispered, "Niall." He looked at me and I blushed even harder. He took my hand and I looked down as we walked. They locked the door and he lifted my head with his hand and his lips met mine. I frozen at first and then responded. He held my face with his hand and caressed my face. I gripped his shirt and our lips moved in sync. He pressed me against the wall and after a few more minutes his tongue licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance and teasing him slightly I didn't let him in. He smiled and kept on kissing me. He held my waist while my hands went into his hair and I tugged on it as we snogged... He grunted and pressed me harder into the wall, making it harder to breathe, but it was worth it because I was kissing my celebrity crush! The door burst open and we jumped apart. Louis smirked mischievously and said, "Niall, love the hair." We blushed profusely and I smoothed his hair back to the way it should be. I rubbed my lip gloss off his mouth and he smiled at me. He asked me, "After the show, would you like to get dinner with me?" I kissed his lips softly and said, "I thought you would never ask!" He kissed me one more time and Truth or dare ended, but we all watched movies and relaxed. Niall had his arm around me the whole time and we cuddled. It was like nine and a movie just ended. I was starting to get tired and I needed to go home for tomorrow. I hugged them all good night and Niall and I held a longer hug than anyone else. Niall walked me to the elevator and kissed my lips sweetly and I said, "See you tomorrow!" He smiled, hugged me one more time and said, "I'll see you tomorrow." I went back to the X-Factor House and just smiled.

Last Show

It was time for the announcement of who won it was between James Arthur and me. He won and I hugged him. I said, "I mean, of course I'm sad I lost, but I am really proud of James and this is not the last you will hear from me! I don't plan on going anywhere! Thank you!" I was ushered off stage. I cried and Niall came up and hugged me. I composed myself and said, "It's okay, it's just another door that closes, but another will open." He hugged me and Simon came up to me and said, "Lilly, I think you did amazing! I want to sign you under SYCO records!" I almost passed out, I said, "It's an honor Simon, thank you!" I hugged him and he hugged back. I smiled and screamed! This is the worst and best day ever!!!!!!!!!

Niall came up to me and kissed me full on the mouth in front of everyone! I blushed. The show ended and I went out on a date with Niall and it was fantastic!!!

Things are finally looking up... :)
