Gerard was sat on the benches in front of his school with Ray. They were discussing something about movies when a special someone waved at Gerard. "I think the new kid likes you" Ray commented. "The new kid as in Frank?" Gerard looked at his friend with a confused expression. "What makes you think that?". Ray sighed and started explaining "First of all he helped me attack the mascot that knocked you out. Then he scared the shit out the girl that was spat on you.". "What does that prove?" Gerard asked with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "Well he cares for you. Plus he always fixes his tie when he sees you and he doesn't miss a chance to stare at you" Ray pointed at Frank who's gaze was fixated on Gerard. "No way man. He can't like me of all the people in the school regardless male or female" Gerard protested. "Oh c'mon. The boy likes you. He's being obvious and you're being oblivious" Ray nudged his friend's shoulder. "What if I don't like him that way?" Gerard sassed. Ray smirked and reminded Gerard of that one time that he moaned Frank's name in his sleep.

"Okay, okay I'll ask him out!" Gerard almost yelled. He stood up and slowly made his way to Frank's figure standing there wondering where to sit. "Hey Frank" he greeted. Frank almost dropped his tray of food. "U-um hey Gerard.." he blushed. The red haired boy just chuckled and clapped his hand over Frank's shoulder. "I saw you didn't have a place to sit so would you like to sit with us..." Gerard didn't finish his sentence because when he looked back at the bench Ray had disappeared. "Okay, well, with me? Would you like to sit with me?" Gerard was as confident as if he didn't even stop talking. "Y-yeah sure" Frank stuttered as his new found friend led him to the bench.

After lunch Gerard walked Frank to his next class where he kissed him on the cheek after Frank accepted to go on a date with him.
