Fear gripped your throat as you uttered those last words, "I'm the Pro Hero, Lux."

You squeezed your eyes shut as you waited for Shigaraki's thumb to touch you, turning you into a million specks of dust.

But his finger never met your skin. Instead, he grew unnaturally still.

"What?" He asked, as if he wasn't sure what you said, "Your name is Lux?"

"Hero name." Your heart skipped a beat, as you carefully opened your eyes,"Why, do you know me?"

"I've never heard of you before." He grumbled, "What's your ranking in the hero charts?"

You scoffed, "You never ask a hero that. Obviously I'm not in the top 10, but that doesn't make me any less of a hero."

"Are you undercover like Hawks?" He narrowed his eyes at you suspiciously, "That would explain a lot."

"If I was like Hawks, why would I run away from him?" You rolled your eyes, "Plus he's the commission's lap dog, I'm not."

He eyed you for a moment, "If you're not undercover, then what are you doing?"

Silence fell again as you debated on how to answer the question.

"I'm not purposely going undercover, this is just something I do.. No one knows about it," You stared at him, treading on your words carefully.

He gave a dry laugh, "What? Helping villains?"

"Helping you." You stated, "..and villains."

Shigaraki's fingers which remained firmly on you, pulled away. A wave of relief washed over you immediately.

"Why?" He said, his tone now as neutral as his expression, "Are things that boring with the heroes? That you have to come and play Robin Hood with us?"

You scrunched your nose, that wasn't the best analogy.

"Robin Hood steals, I don't ."

He opened his mouth to protest but the sound of heavy wings fluttering in the distance stopped him. You both looked up, eyes glued to the sky as you saw the winged hero flying into the distance.

Hawks was gone, and neither of you were caught. Shigaraki noticed you hold your hand over your chest, a huge exhale falling from your lips.

"That was a close one."

By the way it seemed, it looked like you weren't lying. The heroes didn't know you were doing this. But why? Why were you doing this? what was your motive behind it all?

"Last night." He began, his eyes focused as he looked at you, "Why did you help me if you knew who I was?"

You paused for a moment, pursing your lips.

"I don't know." You admitted, a hint of embarrassment in your voice, "I just did."

Your words carried a type of kindness, a concern that for him, was strange, unknown. This attentiveness must've been a part of who you were.

Shigaraki tsked. Everything you were saying was all flavors of wrong. You were just a shallow hero playing doctor making fun of those who weren't as fortunate as you.

He hated it.

"Well," He grumbled in annoyance, "Looks like I'm going to have to kill you."

"H-Heh?" You gulped, eyes widening in alarm.

"You know about me," He admitted, "You can turn me in anytime."
