note:
extra chapter this week cause tomorrow's my birthday 🥳

You were woken up by a distant voice and someone knocking at your door.

Who could possibly be looking for you so early in the morning?

Shifting onto your pillow slightly, you sighed. Your head was perfectly secured in a way your injured side wasn't hurting. You placed a hand on the pillow until you realized, a pillow didn't have a pulse. Nor did it have a pair of arms wrapped around you.

You opened your eyes to find yourself entangled with someone else. Eyes widened in horror, as you realized it was Tomura.

Shit.

So much for staying on each other's side.

Carefully, you tried to wiggle yourself from him but it was no use. His arm was wrapped around you and your legs interwoven with one another's. You looked up gently to see if he budged at all, but it was pointless, he was sound asleep.

Lifting your head slightly, your face was inches away from his. And something about it didn't want to make you pull away.

Maybe it was the way his soft breaths warmed your lips or the way his long white locks fell in front of his eyes. Your fingers reached out to tuck a pair of strands behind his ear, and you felt his grip on you tightened.

It felt far too comforting, his touch, his presence, him. Had it not been for the sudden knock on the door once again, you probably would've stayed like this, just a bit longer. Instead, rolling over to your phone, tapping the screen to check the time, lazily flickering over the screen — 10 missing calls from Hawks.

Fuck.

"Oh no no no," You sat up to get up, the sudden movement of your body waking Tomura up, his eyes fluttering open, as his arm instinctively grabbed you by the waist, pulling you close. You landed with an oomph back onto the bed.

No, not the bed. You landed on him.

Your hand pressed against his chest, your body against his, noses brushing, your breath caught in your throat. His eyes were even prettier this close, light scarlett, softer than ever, with flecks of grey.

You both freezed for a moment, his eyes flickering to your lips and back, as yours did the same, before you both scramble apart.

"H-Hawks must be at the door." You sprung out the bed, grabbing random clothes from your closet, "I forgot I have a meeting this morning with the heroes, so I need to leave right now. I'll call you yeah? Make sure to leave discreetly. Grab a bagel or something before you go."

You didn't even bother to look at his expression as you quickly brushed your teeth.

"Y/N! I know you're in there. Open up!" You heard Hawks knocks get progressively louder.

"Coming!" You yelled as you changed into your hero outfit in the bathroom. Tomura watched as you grabbed your bag and left out the door not once looking back at him.

As the sound of the door thud resonated through the empty apartment, Tomura was so glad you didn't look back at him. Or else you would've seen the blushing mess he was.

He pushed himself off the bed, the smell of you lingered all over him. He couldn't remember the last time he slept so well. He puzzled over last night, his dream and why it felt so real. His mind less sleep now but still slow, almost reluctant to function.

Until it hit him.

"Fuckkk." He mumbled under his breath as he ran his fingers through his hair, "It wasn't a dream."
