Hello again, sorry for the huge delay.
I'm actually not feeling very well, kind of struggling with insomnia and unplanned weight loss and stuff and even if the insomnia keeps me awake long enough to write, I simply cannot bring myself to it because I'm too fucking tired to concentrate. It's pretty depressing to be depressed. 😬
Also my App crashed while editing and I got frustrated that I had to edit again.
I hope it will get better soon, so I can provide regularly chapters again.
Sorry and love you all xx 💋

"I told you it was a stupid idea, but you had to be as bloody stubborn as always, Sallow."

"Oh come on, have some faith in me, will ya darling?"

"Sometimes I'm reconsidering if I don't put too much faith in you."

"Merlin, give me a break, Maywell. You can't shut that pretty mouth of yours, can you?"

I smirked as I saw her slightly blushing.

"I'm just saying, you know? Looks like it's about to rain and I have no interest in getting wet." She rolled her eyes.

"No interest in getting wet, eh?" I teased her further and her eyes widened. "Don't worry will be back before it starts to rain and for the next time you'll take the Floo Powder, alright?"

"If there even will be a next time. I feel like we're running in circles at this point. I could swear I've seen this tree over there at least three times."

I didn't want to admit but she was right. I had no idea where we were. It all started with a simple idea. We wanted to study but I grew tired of the library and I couldn't stand having Imelda bitching around about her records and asking why Delilah hasn't already partaken in the race near Cragscroft. The Undercroft wasn't an option, because chances were high that Ominis would be there and I didn't want to have him around me when I was with her. Actually I didn't want anyone around us, I really enjoyed spending time with her alone.

Especially the quiet moments aside from going rampage in Loyalists Camps or searching for some stupid Runes I can't even see.
I started to grow nervous, because the chances that we'd in fact get wet, were pretty high. Almost inevitable.

"Maybe we can find a cabin once it starts pouring." I shrugged and smiled at her and she turned around and pointed her index finger in my direction.

"I kneeeeww it! You have absolutely no fucking idea in which direction we're walking, have you?" She raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms.

I groaned and rolled my eyes.

"No, Delilah you caught me there. I have indeed absolutely no fucking idea in which direction we're walking." I grinned at her, trying to make it up with my Charme.

"You're insufferable, Sebastian. We better find a cabin or else." She nudged me and continued walking. I couldn't help but admire her backside for a few seconds until I quickly followed and took the lead again.

We were not far from Keenbridge, it was almost a shame that we'd get lost not that far from Hogwarts. I didn't took more than 2 minutes to find ourselves within a raining shower.

"Shit, shit, shit. I'm sorry I messed up, Liles." I said apologetic but surprisingly she just smiled.

"It's alright. I'm actually kind of surprised how good the rain feels, it's like a reminder that I'm...somewhat alive. To be honest I've been feeling a little bit...empty for a while." She said quietly.

"What do you mean? Why didn't you say anything?" I asked, realising that she was a little bit hesitant to look me in the eyes.

"It's okay, it's not that I'm sad, I'm just...nothing. As if I was non-existent. It doesn't hurt it's simply not very desirable." She sighed and started picking leaves from bushes we've passed and sprinkled them like a little trace as if we were in that story from that creepy Muggle book Anne loved so dearly as a kid.
