Ch. 9: Lost in language

It was another day in the Owl House as we see Luz reading her Azura book while King and Bruno listen.

Luz: *reading* "Azura.' Hecate began, 'Our paths have crossed only in battle. But today I stand before you seeking an ally.' Ah~."

King: "Luz, you're getting all swoons again."

Luz: "I can't help it. Azura is able to befriend everyone. Even her biggest rival. I wish I had that kind of power."

Bruno blows a raspberry at what she said.

Bruno: "I hate to break it to you. But, not everyone can befriend."

King: "He's right. Rival are meant to be annihilated, not befriended."

He said. As she continued reading the door swung open.

King: "The book has come to life! Burn it!"

Bruno: "Whoa, easy King! What we got Hooty?"

Hooty: "Just this thing out here."

The trio went over to the door to find a basket left out on there porch.

Luz: "Eda, you got a package. Looks like gift basket."

Eda: "It's probably an offering. Being the most powerful witch on the Isles has it perks."

King pulled the sheet off reviling a baby bat snoring.

King: "Mmm, fresh meat."

Luz: "Nope, no eating that."

Bruno: "Ditto."

They felt sickened after hearing that as exited themselves out.

Eda: "Witches eating babies is so 1693. What is this?"

King notices note attached to it.

King: *reading* "Take care of my child til morning. Yi Yi."
