"Geez, it's so bright in here!" A female voice commented.
"Luka, turn down the brightness! You know it's not supposed to be on 100%."
"Right, yes." Another female voice responded.
The lights were turned down slightly, and it helped relieve Len's strained eyes.
Len turned around slowly to face whoever was behind him.
"Woah kid, the floor's all bloody. Are you okay?" She asked.
Len looked at the floor, covered in scotches from his previous outbursts.
Now that the light wasn't blindingly bright, Len could see a bunch of padded material lining the floor and walls.
He touched the floor, and realized that the padded material felt exactly like the pads they had on the walls in the gymnasium at his school.
That's why he thought it was familiar before...."Your arms are pretty bad too. Come on, let's get you cleaned up." The woman said in a reassuring tone.
Len stayed completely still.
"Luka! I mean, Doctor Megurine. What's the kid's name?" The woman called.
"His name is... Kagamine Len." Dr. Megurine responded. "Oh... we were supposed to take him out of here in 'two hours.' Not at 2PM. Whoops."
"Oh no! So you've been in here since 9AM? You must be hungry! Let's get you some grub, what'cha say?" The woman asked.
It's only been... five hours?
It felt like an eternity..."Ah, I never introduced myself." The woman said. "My name is Dr. Forte. And you are in Gynoid Rehabilitation Hospital! This is a hospital for children and adolescents who are mentally disturbed and have committed crimes."
"So... I'm not dead?" Len said in a shaky voice.
"Oh no honey, you're alive! And once we tend to those nasty cuts you have, you'll be A-okay!" Dr. Forte responded in a cheery tone.
Len was still confused.
"But... wasn't I given a lethal injection?! What was the chair and the syringe for???""Oh, you remember that?" Dr. Forte responded. "I thought you were too zoned out. That was actually a benzodiazepine sedative, so we could calm you down and transport you to the hospital safely."
