"Len!! I'll see you later!!"
Miku and Rin were going to the park to hang out with their friend group.
As Rin and Len grew up, Rin began to make new friends and form social groups.
One friend, whom Rin called her "best" friend, was Miku.
Rin and Miku frequently hung out, meeting with other friends, going to parties, sleepovers, and watching movies.
Len didn't have any other friends.
The only person he considered a friend was Rin.It was strange to him how hearing Rin call Miku her "best friend" somehow hurt his feelings.
What if he wanted to go to the park and hang out with Rin?
It hurt, whether he liked it or not.

Len scoffed. "Oh, it's just you."
Miku was confused and uneasy.
"What am I doing here...?" she asked.Len groaned. "I don't know, I don't care, just shut up. You're not worth my time."
"I'm not?" Miku responded, almost relieved.
"She's not?!" The voice chimed in.
"No one cares about you." Len remarked. "You're just here because someone felt the need to add you into my life, for some stupid reason."
Miku was confused. "What are you talking about?"
Len looked away and sat down. "I'm gonna think about other things, so go away and shut your mouth."
The voice appeared in his shadow form.
"Hey, wait," the voice commented. "Doesn't her very presence make you want to... peel your skin off... or something??"Miku was shocked to find him here. "Luci- AGH!!"
