Belle POV
I opened my eyes to a blinding white light. I winced and shut them again, before putting a hand up in an attempt to shield my eyes from it. That is, i tried to put a hand up. Instead, i felt the resistance of a strap on my wrist. I froze. Was i tied down? I slowly opened my eyes, giving them time to adjust. I found myself staring at a glaring white fluorescent light above me. I strained my neck to look down at myself. I was wearing a white hospital gown and i had black straps on my wrists and ankles. My head was free however. I looked from side to side. One side was completely blank with nothing but the outline of a door. The other side contained a mirror. I could see myself, pale and frightened, dark brown hair spilled around me, ghost of a baby bump on my stomach. It was then that i realized. I had been kidnapped! Drugged! I started to hyperventilate. A piercing sound filled the quiet little room. It was my scream. I screamed, over and over again, hoping somebody would hear and save me from whatever was to come.

Eve POV
I collapsed into my bunk, exhausted, sore, beat. I just wanted to pass out....
"Evie? You okey?" A small voice asked me. I opened my eyes to see a pair of bright violet eyes looking into my own. Lilla. I gave a small smile.
"Yes, birdie, i'm fine. How are you? Fly yet?" I asked, giving the small girl a hug. She giggled.
"Silly...no! I did find this flower today though, it was the same color as my eyes! I sawd it during between the tests and i thought it was soooo pretty and i wanted to pick it but then the doc...doc....docotors? The docoators woulda taken it away and i didn wanna kill it so i jus look at it." She said in imperfect little kid speak. It was adorable. She had recently lost her two front teeth, giving her an even more charming look. She was still young enough to have her innocence, to still see brightness in the world around her. I grinned at her. I reached a hand out and ruffled her hair a little. Pulling my hand away, sparkles flew in the air. We stared shocked at the air that had, just a second ago, been sparkling. I waved my hand again. Silver sparkles appeared and vanished. Lilla looked shocked for a moment before she looked completely awed.
"I wanna try i wanna try!" She squealed. She viciously waved her hand in the air and frowned. Nothing happened. Her frown deepened. She looked very very focused and deliberately waved her hand. Small violet sparkles followed her hand. Her face split into a big grin.
"Lets put our sparkles together!" She squealed. Not being able to deny her, i waved my hand with her and our sparkles joined together, silver and purple, before they all joined in the middle and formed a small ball of silver and purple. Lilla reached a tiny hand forward and grabbed it.
"This would make a lovely necklace..." She whispered.

Sapphire had showed us what the doctors let her keep of her powers. One day, she had seen something on one of the female doctors necks and had questioned her about it, before making a lovely necklace made of ice. It was one of three things she had been allowed to keep, and she wore it everyday. Lilla had loved it.

As Lilla spoke, the sparkles shifted, and soon they were a silver chain with violet wings as the pendant. It was incredibly beautiful, but also inconspicuous, like you would only see it if you were looking for it. She put it on. She gave me the biggest smile ever.
"You need one!" She said. I sighed and we repeated the whole process, and soon i had my own necklace, except mine had a violet chain and silver wings. They were both identical except for color. Lilla gave me another hug before climbing down to her own bunk. It was lights out. I lay down, fingering the pendant. What was this new power? Was it dangerous? Would we end up treated like Sapphire?
