A/N: The forces of nature known as cramming for exams stopped me. Ready for this all night jam session? YEAH! Green Day atm if you wanna join in on my jam session.

Paige POV: My gosh. What had happened. It looked like...like a bomb had gone off. The smell of blood hung heavy in the air. Just...I can't describe it. You could feel the death with every sense in your body. Our group hung at the edge of the treeline, taking in the devastation before us. It seemed recent, but not super recent, more like it had happened at least a day ago? It was rather localized, and some buildings a distance away seemed intact still. Gill was the first to speak up.

"Damn." He stated simply.

"Damn is right." I replied. We all observed silently, some memories washing over us. Being abandoned, mutated, useless. We never thought we would come back here. I personally had hoped and prayed we never would. Well, had to happen sometime I guess. I took a deep breath, and stepped forward towards the rubble.

Eve 2 POV: I heard them before I saw them. People. Coming fast. Would they be a danger to me? I don't know. I don't care. Let them end the misery of my life, of the memory of Lilla. Her smiling face, so innocent...covered in blood. Pale, lifeless. Her eyes stared at me accusingly. Accusing me. I couldn't help her. I couldn't reach her, there was too much blood,  and she was screaming, screaming about how I made it happen, it was all my fault.

"IT WASN'T MY FAULT LILLA!" I screamed, clutching my head. I started rocking back and forth. Why wouldn't she leave me alone, just get out get out GET OUT OF MY HEAD. I screamed endlessly, visions of violet eyes and a smile innocent of the future, flashing behind my eyes.

James POV (wolf dude): I heard the footsteps, and was totally still listening to them when the piercing screams shattered the silence.

"GET OUT GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" The screams said before just becoming one, unending scream of pure torture. The voice, Eve! What was wrong though? I started sprinting in the direction of her voice. Whatever was hurting her, wouldn't be hurting her much longer.

Paige POV: We headed towards the scream, I mean, who wouldn't? Someone scream, you have to go find out WHY they screamed because whatever made them scream could be coming for you next! So we headed towards it, and unknowingly we started running together, as a group. Finally, we stumbled across a mostly intact building where the scream seemed to be coming from. Suddenly, it cut off with a sound like a choking sob. I yanked open the door and ran in to find...

"EVE!" I shouted. We all stopped and stared, open mouthed and wide eyed, at the bloodstained and broken girl huddled in a corner. Her silver hair was tangled, and her once shiny and luminous wings were now dirty, dull and ragged, but it was Eve. She had lost the blonde ends of her hair it seemed, but it was without a doubt, Eve. She simply stayed huddled under those dirty wings, not even bothering to look up at us. Her shoulders were shaking, and she was rocking back and forth. Slowly, I crept forward.

"Eve?" I said, more softly, as I slowly reached a hand to the small girl in front of me. The second my fingers made contact, her head shot up, and silver, bloodshot eyes met my own. But these weren't the eyes I remembered. The eyes I remembered were still innocent, happy, joyful. These...these were the eyes of someone broken. They looked into mine desperately, bloodshot silver eyes in a tear-stained face, dried blood in her hair and on her clothes, her hands. Her breathing was ragged, and gasping, as if the very act of breathing pained her. This was not the Eve who I last saw. This, this was a different person entirely. This person, this Eve, was broken.

Just as I went to say more, the door burst open, and a dark shape blurred into the room and ran into me at top speed.

James POV: I didn't even think, I just acted. I saw the strange girl standing by Eve, so naturally, I tackled her. When I looked down at who I had pinned under me, startled green eyes met my own, and I found myself looking at....a green Eve?

"Hey...get off me!" The green Eve said, shock turning to irritation and fear on her face. I glared down and snarled.

"Why should I you....green Eve!" I said accusingly. She looked shocked again for a moment before...breaking out into a fit of giggles?

"Gre-G-Green EVE?!" She choked out between fits of laughter. "No! My name is Paige, I'm a friend of Eve's and, as you could see if you weren't CRUSHING ME, I have wings as well they just don't work."

I thought for a moment, before lifting the girl up enough to look at her back. Sure enough, a stunted pair of green wings sprouted from her back. I thought again for a moment, could I over power this girl if necessary? Yes. I got off her and let her stand. She brushed herself off and turned to the rest of her group, which I had completely failed to notice. Huh. It's becoming more and more obvious why I was never Alpha when the other wolves were alive.

Eve 2 POV: I had looked into those emerald eyes before. But when? When had I ever seen those eyes before? Nobody in the Facility had those eyes. Those eyes....They let me focus. They made me forget about the violet. The violet had gone away. The smile had gone away. I could think, sh was out of my head! And then they went away. They left me, and everything came back. This is my Hell, this is where I will die. Right here. In my memories.

A/N: and my all nighter is officially begun! My goal is 5000 words. This chapter was 1000, give or take. Well, here we go!
