Techno meets THE god (emotional) (gay af)

Dream met The Blood God, so it's only fair that Techno gets to meet XD

Techno walked through the snow, Ranboo and Phil following close behind. "Ooh guys, look!" Ranboo dropped the deer carcass he had been carrying and pointed ahead. A glimmering, frozen lake appeared out of the fog, and ranboo ran forwards onto the ice, laughing a bit. Phil followed, and techno put down his hunting gear and ran after them. "Guys, be careful!" "Techno, relax." Phil spun around, using his wings to stabilize himself. "It's fine. It's not going to crack." Ranboo kicked the ice. "See? Yeah. we're fine." Techno was the first to notice the cracks in the ice, and was sprinting forwards before the cracking even started. He pushed Ranboo out of the way, just as the ice split open, swallowing him up into the frigid water. It took him a few moments to recollect his brain, but as soon as he could, he swam up to the surface. When he should've burst to the surface, though, he hit a wall of ice. The new, exposed ice, as well as the water splashing against it, had frozen up again. He was trapped. He slammed against the wall of cold, but it was no use. The cold was stealing his breath away, and he couldn't feel his limbs anymore. He sunk down into the depths of the lake, his vision going blurry, and then dark.

Techno woke up in a field of butterflies, bees, and flowers. Everything was warm and sunny, with birds fluttering through the sky. "Ranboo? Phil?" He looked around. "Am i... dead?" "almost." someone replied behind him. He turned and yelped. Someone in a green robe and cloak was sitting there, with a mask engraved with an XD on it. "Wh- uh- who are you?" The- being- stood up. "I think you already know that, Technoblade." Techno slowly nodded. He had seen this deity many times before, as statues, paintings, windows. This was DreamXD. The god of Revival. He bowed. "Thank you for saving my life. If that's what you even did." The god nodded. "Thanks accepted. I'm glad to see that even uncivilized- by means of one not being in the cities- remembers me. And yes, I did save you. You would have perished if I hadn't brought your soul here." "my soul?" Techno frowned. "What about my body?" XD shrugged. "In a coma. You'll wake up eventually." The god began to walk, beckoning to him. "You may call me Dream if you wish." "okay." Techno walked beside him, a bit behind. "Why did you save me?" "oh, well, uh, i've been- well-" Dream rubbed his neck awkwardly. "I've been watching you for a while."

Techno raised his eyebrows. "Watching me?" "yeah." Dream nodded. "You've always caught my eye." Techno's eyebrows ascended even higher. "Caught your eye? Like-" Dream crossed a pair of his arms (techno had noticed that DreamXD had at least about two pairs of arms, like in all the sculptures of him.) "I'll choose to elaborate if I wish." "sureee." Techno snorted, poking him. Dream waved him away. "Don't make me send you back down." they walked over a hill, and Techno gasped. In front of them was the edge of a cliff, but at the bottom of the cliff was a beautiful valley, with a glimmering lake in the middle of it. A willow tree, decorated with hanging lanterns, rested beside it. A forest of spruce trees grew around the lake, and vines climbed up the steep walls. Dream offered his hand to techno. "It's quite a climb down, so I'd recommend being carried." some part in Techno's mind huffed at the idea of him being carried like a child, but he ignored it, taking Dream's hand. The god easily picked him up, and then jumped off the edge, using his large wings to glide down.

Dream spoke things about how he had looked into techno's mind to create the perfect environment for him to stay in, but he didn't listen that much, his brain focusing on things like how Dream's heartbeat was so quick, or that he smelled kinda like apples and pine trees, or maybe how gently he was holding him. "Techno? Are you good?" Dream asked. Techno glanced up. They had landed in the valley. His face went pink. "Oh, yeah. Yeah. just- I just zoned out." "Do you want me to keep carrying you?" Techno nodded. "Ye- yeah." Dream readjusted his grip on techno and walked towards the willow tree. Once they reached the tree, The god sat down, still holding techno. Techno relaxed a bit. "XD? When will I wake up?" Dream sighed. "When you desire to." Techno smiled. "Okay then. I think I'll stay a bit longer."
