the perfect day

yeah this is what my opinion of a "perfect day" would be like. cloudy, grey, and windy.

Techno yelped as a gust of wind almost blew the glasses off his face, one of his hands clutching his boyfriend's arm. "It's been a while since we've been back here." Dream chucked, pulling techno close. Their shoes pressed into the sand as grey clouds filled the sky, wind roaring and waves rocking back and forth.

"There's a lighthouse over there." Techno gestured to the tower, and his partner hummed. "You wanna go in?" "Well, you know. I was asking you-" dream snorted. "Alright then. Let's go."

Dream pulled the strings of his hoodie tighter, staying close to techno. Their feet found wet rock, techno grabbing on to the rope handrails. "I love this weather." He sighed, looking out at the raging sea. Dream said nothing, just watching his partner lovingly.

After taking a few photos (and sending them to Phil,) techno entered the lighthouse, Dream behind him. It was a quiet refuge, the sound of the wind muted from the stone walls. They held hands, rings glinting in the dim LED light.

It was a nice silence, just dark walls punctuated by the occasional window. The two men walked in silence. They had gotten rid of uncomfortable silences long ago. Dream bumped his head against techno's shoulder, and techno chuckled, kissing his cheek.

"Here we go." the brunette muttered, one hand pushing his glasses father up his nose as he pushed open the door, wind immediately gusting over them once again. Dream laughed, pulling his hood over his head, and they walked over to the balcony.

"Just look at that." the dirty blonde gestured out to the roaring waves. Techno nodded, trying not to let his teeth chatter. "Oh come here, you dork." dream pulled his partner close, and techno leaned into his warmth, closing his eyes. Dream swayed back and forth, smiling softly as he held his partner.
