"You do know you entirely ruined phase three of our plan." Enola tells Tewkesbury, as they walk through the field.
"Phase what? Who the hell are you guys?" Tewkesbury asks. "Look, I think our recent brush with death at least deserves me your names."
"Enola Holmes." Enola says.
"Holmes... like Sherlock?" Tewkesbury asks.
"And I am undercover so forget I told you that price of information." Enola says.
"Undercover working for him?" Tewkesbury asks.
"Undercover from him." Enola tells him.
"Hence why your dressed as a boy." Tewkesbury says.
"Hence why you would say nothing." Enola tells him.
"What about you?" Tewkesbury asks, looking at Lilli. "Whats your name."
"Daisy Nielsen." Lilli says, causing her to get a confused look from Enola. "So?"
"What?" Tewkesbury asks.
"Thank you. Your suppose to say thank you." Lilli says, gesturing to the top of the hill.
"For what?" Tewkesbury asks.
Lilli scoffs walking off."We should think about sleeping soon." Enola says.
The sun was setting and they had been walking for a couple hours.
"We should think about eating soon." Tewkesbury says.
"We have nothing to eat." Lilli points out.
"Of course we do. Arctium Lappa, which you'll know as burdock." Tewkesbury says, before going off on a rant about different plants. "If you can get a fire started. I can make us a feast."
"Fine." Lilli says, with a small smile.
"I'm not entirely an idiot, you know." Tewkesbury tells her, as she slowly walks away.
She smiles looking back at him.Enola had gone off somewhere and Lilli and Tewkesbury was sat at the fire. Tewkesbury laying on the ground and Lilli sat on a log, which Tewkesbury was propped up a little against.
"My names not really Daisy Nielsen." Lilli admits, causing Tewkesbury to look at her.
"Then what is it?" Tewkesbury asks.
"It's Lilli Wilson." Lilli says.
"No way." Tewkesbury says, sitting up on the log beside her. "You mean to tell me, all this time I've been saying you remind me of my childhood best friend, it's been you all along. You've been my childhood best friend all this time?"
"Surprise." Lilli says, with a small laugh.
"I can't believe I didn't realize. It's been what... 10 years?" Twekesbury asks.
"10 years, 4 months and 21 days." Lilli states. "Since our parents had that fight and banned us from seeing each other ever again."
"You know, I've thought about you every day since then." Tewkesbury says, causing Lilli who was looking down to look up at him. "What you're up to now, if you're okay, if you think about me everyday, if you've replaced me."
"No one in the world could replace you, Tewkes." Lilli tells him.
Tewkesbury smiles at this before going to say something else but Enola cuts him off as she comes back over.
"I've been thinking. You need to disguise yourself a little." Enola tells Tewkesbury. "How do you feel about your hair?"
"I've never cared for it." Tewkesbury admits. Enola then grabs a knife and a rock and starts to sharpen the knife. "Cut it off with a knife, of course you will. Who taught you how to sharpen it like that?"
"My mother." Enola says.
"Your mother is very different then mine." Tewkesbury says.
"Who taught you about flowers and herbs?" Enola asks.
"My father." Tewkesbury says.
"I never really knew my father. I only knew Daisy's..." Enola starts.
"I told him." Lilli cuts her off.
"Lilli's dad was the only father figure I had." Enola says.
"My fathers dead to." Tewkesbury says.
"I'm sorry." The three of them say together.
"Why did you guys run away from home?" Tewkesbury asks.
"Didn't want to go to Miss Harrison's Finishing School For Young Ladies." Lilli answers. "Why have you."
"We'll, a tree branch broke above me while I was collecting wild mushrooms. It should have crushed me but I managed to roll out of the way. And I realized that..." Tewkesbury says, as Enola cuts his hair.
"What?" Enola asks.
"You'll laugh at me." Tewkesbury says.
"We won't." Lilli reassure him.
"My life flashed before me. I was just about to take my seat in the House of Lords. I had these ideas about how we might progress the estate. But my family were set on me joining the army and then going over seas just like my uncle." Tewkesbury explains. "And I was scared. Scared I would hate every second of the rest of my life."
"Why would we laugh at that?" Lilli asks.
"Don't I sound pathetic." Tewkesbury says.
"No." Lilli says.
Tewkesbury and Lilli look at each other for a moment neither daring to say a world.
"In the morning we're going to have to move fast." Enola tells them, causing them both to snap out of their trances and look at her. "The bowler hat man will be hot on your trial."
"Where's your destination?" Tewkesbury asks. "I'm going to..."
"London." Lilli says.
"We'll, then... shall we um... stick together?" Tewkesbury asks, looking back at the brunette. "If you like."
"No. We'll get to London and go our separate ways. Understood?" Enola asks, handing Lilli the knife.
"Understood. Completely and entirely." Tewkesbury says, as Lilly stands up. Roughly she grabs his hair and starts cutting it. "Do you have to be so rough with the hair?"
"Yes." Lilli says.In the morning, they caught a ride to London on the back of a cart. As they arrive in London the two girls jump down.
"Oh, so this is where we part?" Tewkesbury asks.
"It is." Enola says.
"Then thank you Lilli Wilson and Enola Holmes, for helping me here." Tewkesbury says.
"You were suppose to have forgotten those names." Lilli says jokingly.
"Then you'll have to find another." Tewkesbury says.
The cart then slowly goes away, Tewkesbury still on the back.
"He'll be okay, right?" Lilli asks, as she watches Tewkesbury disappear into the distance.
"He'll be fine. Come on." Enola says, walking off.
Lilli watching Tewkesbury for a couple more moments before following Enola.
