Lilli was in her cell, Grail stood opposite her.
"Quite a party. You danced with Young Master Lyon, I hear." Grail says. "May I ask, impertinently, I'm sure, did you want to kiss him, or find out more about your case, this Sarah Chapman?" Grail then sits next to the brunette. "Look, if you're trying to protect her, know this. I will protect her better. There's someone wants to talk to her, and there not as kind as me."
"Someone? Who?" Lilli asks. "Why were you following me and my friend that night? You were following Mae too, weren't you? That's why you found the flat. Nice shirt. Slik? On a policeman's salary? Who's paying you, Superintendent Grail? Who's paying you to kill match girls?"
Grail then grabs Lilli by the neck, pinning her against the wall.
"Where's Sarah Chapman?" Grail shouts.
"I don't know." Lilli replies.
"She's a theif and a troublemaker. You don't want to risk your skin for her." Grail tells her. "Well, if I can't find it out from you I'll find it out from someone else, like her sister, little Bessie."
"She's just a little girl." Lilli whispers.
"Oh, but that's how it starts, Lilli Wilson." Grail says, letting go of her neck. "With little girls like her, and you, Enola Holmes, and Sarah Chapman, asking questions, doubting those in charge, not seeing their protection for what it is, trying to tear it down! Well it only takes one little flame to start a fire, and my job is to keep crushing those bloody flames out. Now, I will be kind and give you one last chance. Whre is she?"
"I don't know." Lilli says.
"Then you're for the noose." Grail says. "Some dectective you were. Should have stuck with needlework.__________
After getting a message from Lestrade that Lilli had been arrested, Liam and Sherlock had straight down to the station.
"Sirs." The man at the desk says. "Sirs."
"Don't be ridic-" Liam starts, but gets cut off by a cane stopping them from going behind the desk.
"Superintentant Grail." Sherlock says.
"Mr Holmes. Mr Wilson." Grail says.
"We're here for my sister. If you can arrange her release, I'd much appreaciate it." Liam says. "She is my ward and a minor."
"And a murderer." Grail adds.
"Any evidence you think you have against her-" Sherlock starts.
"I have plenty. She was seen aruging with the victim, following the victim, fighting with the victim, and lastly, standing over the victims dead body." Grail says. "And when we find her there, with blood on her hands, she bloody runs."
"We saw you're murder site." Sherlock says, with a smirk. "Marks on and around the door shows that it was forced open, and recently."
"There were signs of a scuffle and boot marks from three separte intruders." Liam says. "One of them heavyset, judging by the height and extent of the subsequent damage."
"Traces of fabric and spots of blood suggests that there was another occupant, likely female, who seems to have fought back, using a sharp and improvised weapon.. before escaping through the window." Sherlock says.
"I would say this was a trageted search and interrogation in which two women were discovered, and then my sister arrived, and you were curiously fast to arrive after her." Liam says.
"Now are you going to release her, or shall we?" Sherlock asks.
"Sergant Beeston, if you please." Grail says. "Fingerprint matching. New invention. Swiss. You have heard of it?"
"We have." Liam says.
"Would you care to look?" Grail asks, before Liam and Sherlock look. "Makes our work so much more efficient, especially in a murder case."
"My sister never touched that weapon." Liam says, standing straight and glaring at Grail slightly.
"Then why are her prints on it?" Grail asks.
Sherlock then taps Liam on the arm and they both leave.__________
"Enola you must tell me what's going on!" Tewkesbury tells Enola, as the pair walk into his apartment. "Why the bloody hell was Lilli arrested."
"It's a long story." Enola sighs.
"Then tell me. We've got all the time we need." Tewkesbury tells her.
Enola sighs before sitting down, Tewkesbury following suit.
"This girl... Sarah Chapman has gone missing. Bessie, Sarah's younger sister, has hired us to find her. Lilli went to this place to follow a lead, when she got there someone was dying. She tried to save them but couldn't. Lestrade and Superintent Grail turned up and Lilli ran. She was dancing with Willam Lyon, and was going to meet him in the Library because we figured out that William is somehow linked to Sarah Chapman." Enola explains.
"Why wouldn't Lilli tell me any of this?" Tewkesbury asks.
"because she loves you, you nincompoop, and doesn't want to ruin your life with all of this. Tewkesbury, you have made a name for yourself. You've got the life you've always wanted. Lili would never forgive herself if she ruined that for you." Enola tells him.
"I don't have the life I want, because I'm not with her." Tewkesbury says.
"I would love to stay and chat, Tewkesbury, but I must get going." Enola says standing up. "I've got to find a way to get Lilli out of jail, then-"
"I'm coming with you." tewkesbury says, also standing up.
"Tewkesbury." Enola says, in a warning tone.
"We'll get Lilli out of jail and then we'll figure this case out. The three of us. All together." Teweksbury says.
"Okay, come on. I know the perfect person who can help us." Enola says.
Tewkesbury nods before following Enola out of his apartment.
