"And why, pray, have you moved everything?"
The two girls wake up, and see both their brothers looking at them annoyed. Lilli leans back looking at all the papers upside down.
"Nothing looks different to me." Lilli says.
"Nothing looks different? Ev-" Liam starts before sighing, and placing a hand on his head.
"Your head is sore? I can't think why." Lilli teases her brother.
"This is why I don't have people in my rooms." Sherlock says. "Look what you've done. My papers are entirely out of order."
"Your case. Is vexting you." Enola says. "Seems to be a lot of question marks on that map of yours."
"Dundee cake. Door." Sherlock says, walking up to them with two pieces of dundee cake. "We will see you again.
"Is that why you're drinking?" Lilli asks.
"I'm mpre then certain... it's not so old." Sherlock says, sniffing the cake.
"Maybe we can help." Enola says.
"You can help by leaving." Liam says.
"Oh, yes, the world will be a much safer place if we don't see the inside of Liam Wilson and Sherlock Holmes, only the out." Lilli says.
"Crazy idea. Have you ever considered a flatmate?" Enola asks.
"We've got each other." Sherlock says.
"That's not each other." Enola says.
"Strange. How those seeking advice despense it." Sherlock says.
"Did we ask for your advice?" Enola asks.
"We found you on the street, drunk." Lilli says.
The siblings start fighting. Lilli accidently points her finger in iam's face.
"And then there's your fingernails." Liam says. "Why on earth are you working in a match factory?"
"What?" Lilli asks.
"Last night they were dirty with green traces. This morning, they are black." Liam says, as Sherlock notices the same on his sisters fingers.
"The phosphorous from the match- making has mixed with oxygen in the atmosphere." Sherlock explains. "We weren't in such a state as to not see that."
"And your neck is red. Someone has gripped it or held a knife against..." Liam starts, pointing to his sister's neck, causing her hand to adsentmindly go to her neck. "Are you involved in something dangerous? Because you are still our wards. And if you need our help, our offer remains on the table."
"Don't be so desperate to prove yourselves, girls." Sherlock says.
"We're not desperate." Enola says, with a scoff. "And we don't need your's or anyone's help."
The two girls go to leave, but go back for the dundee cakes. They then actually walk out the door.Enola had gone off to do some of her own investigating. Lilli had gone to the park. She had seen Tewkesbury walking in the same park nearly everyday. She hated to admit it, but everyday she saw him, she wished she had either gone up to him or he would come up to her. The brunette was sat on a bench eating her dundee cake. She kept looking around for any sign of Tewkesbury but after a little while she gave up looking around for him, after seeing no sign of him for about three hours.
"Lilli?" Lilli looks up to see Tewkesbury. "It is you."
"And it is you." Lilli replies, wiping the star crumbs of bundee off her chin.
"How are you? Are you well?" Tewkesbury asks. "You look..."
"I'm on a case. Undercover. Forget I told you that piece of informtion." Lilli says.
"It's the strangest thing. I could have sworn I've seen you here before." Tewkesbury says.
"Is that right?" Lilli asks, trying to play it off.
"Well, this is my... My route through to the lords." Tewkesbury tells her.
"Is it? How loveley." Lilli says. "Well, I... I have breakfast here on occasion."
"I mean, yes, It's a lovely place. I- I know the gardner here." Tewkesbury says, taking his hat off. "We've been discussing what to sow for next year's crop. Some fine sunflowers. Uh, sweet Williams, for their lovely vivid reds."
"I've seen all you're doing." Lilli tells him.
"Oh, well, it's... it's nothing." Tewkesbury says.
"In the society pages." Lilli says. "You are quite the eligable bachelor."
"Don't believe all you read." Tewkesbury tells her. There was a moment of silence, where the pair just looked at each other. "I wrote to you. You didn't reply."
"Uh, I... was busy." Lilli says. "My clothing busniess has been consuming most of my time. And when I haven't been busy with that, I've been helping Enola with her detective agency."
"Well, Lilli, if you need help. With this case..." Teweskbury says.
"I do not. Thank you though." Lilli says.
"Right, well, you know where to find me. Should a plant go missing." Tewkesbury says, before putting his hat back on. "I hope you enjoy your breakfast."
Lilli stands there for a moment hoping he was looking back. When she looked back and found he wasn't she was a bit disappointed. Little did she know, he actually did look back.Lilli had been sat down for a little while, until Tewkesbury's worlds reply in her head, and she notices something about the letter she found in Sarah's makeup box. She re read it to find a few clues.
