*Inside the Classroom*
Link's POV
As I sat down to my usual seat with Lei right beside me,we waited for the bell to ring to start a new day of school.
As we talked about random things and as the room started filling up with students,the bell finally rang,signalizing the start of the lesson.The teacher came in and introduced herself and started the lesson,as well as giving us our schedule for the day.

*At the hallways*
As Lei and I walked together for our next class,she tapped my shoulder and made a gesture to give her my schedule.I gave it to her and she analyzed it with hers.As soon as she was done analyzing it,her dark brown eyes looked at me with a worried look.
"I told you.*sighs* Guess I was right,were going to meet each other at Math,which is the last subject..Are you sure you'll be alright on your own?" she said,her face full of concern.
I held her shoulder and gave it a reassuring squeeze,telling her that I'll be fine and not to worry.
"Besides,we'll still meet at lunchbreak remember? You'll see me at our usual seat in one piece!" I told her,giving her a reassuring smile.
Lei also smiled.I let go of her shoulder then looked forward,my room is getting nearer,hers is still on the other side.As we put to a stop near my room,I turned to Lei.
"Guess I'll see you around,huh?" she asked with a smile on her face.
"Yeah,see you later." I responded,giving her a reassuring smile before I walked in the room,pushed up my glasses.A trait that I do when I'm nervous or scared.
As usual,I took a seat next to the window at the back.I grabbed the book from my bag and started reading it from where I stopped.The History teacher is not here yet so I kept myself busy.
I was quietly reading when suddenly,I felt someone throwing crumpled paper at the nape of my neck,I jolted as I turned around and saw the jocks standing right behind me,a few meters away,laughing at me.I just turned to my book once again and ignored them.I thought they were gonna stop but I was wrong,they keep on throwing papers at me and calling me names at the same time.
'Ignore them,be strong,you have to prove to Lei that you'll be fine,DON'T.FREAKING.CRY!!' I thought to myself as tears started forming in my eyes.They keep on throwing papers at me until suddenly they stopped.
I wondered why they stopped throwing,so I turned around and instantly I saw a hand holding a piece of crumpled paper that was supposed to be thrown at me.My eyes widened in shock,I looked up at the jocks and saw their eyes widened in shock like mine,some of them had their jaws dropped.
I looked back at the hand and immediately looked up to see who stood up for me.
He's a very tall guy,a 6 footer to be exact,probably a few inches taller I can't tell,wearing a red t-shirt with a few buttons on the top,a dark blue jeans,and a pair of black rubber shoes with a unique style like mine.
He has dark blonde hair which is styled in an updo,a bit of a stubble on his chin,and has grey/green eyes which I found interesting.
I suddenly looked down when I noticed him looking at me,pushing my glasses up to my nose.
I don't know what happened but I heard rushing footsteps everywhere and chairs being pulled back and pushed in,I'm assuming that the guy who protected me scared them away I guess.With his height,they are no match for him.
"Hey,you alright bud?" I heard him say it softly with a smile.I looked up at him once again,meeting his grey/green eyes with mine,a smile plastered on his face.
"Y-yeah,I'm fine" I said as I looked down once again.He laughed and I heard him taking a seat next to me.
"You sure are a shy one,are you scared of me?" he asked curiously.I suddenly looked up at him,my face red of embarrassment.
"N-n-NO! NO OF COURSE NOT! W-Why would I be scared of you when you are the one who stood up for me?" I said. I really need to keep myself from stuttering,but then again,a guy stood up for me.It was really uncommon for me to be stood up for by someone aside from Lei.
"Speaking of which,why did you?" I added,pushing my glasses up once again.
"Because I hate seeing someone being bullied,plus it was the right thing to do,and...that's it" he shrugged.I can tell he wanted to add more but I just let it slide.
"Thank you,for standing up for me" I smiled at him.He smiled back and patted my shoulder,I felt shivers down my spine when his hand came in contact with my shoulder,I tried to ignore it but I can't
seem to do it.
"Don't mention it,bud! Name's Rhett by the way!" he said with a smile as he let go of my shoulder and held it up for me to shake it.
"I-I'm Link,it's nice to meet you,Rhett." I smiled at him and shook his hand.
"Same here!Welp,I better go back to my seat,see ya Link!" he said as he lets go of my hand,stood up and head back to his seat,which is a distance away from me.
I smiled and sighed as I turned back to my book once again and was shocked to see a red sticky note on the page of my book.
I picked it up and read it:
'You may not see me,but I do see you.You are the cutest thing that I have ever seen in my life.You may not remember me but I do remember you.I liked you ever since we were in 7th grade.But don't call me a stalker,because if I am,I would be following you everywhere you go and evaluate a plan to make you mine,which is a big NO for me.I want you to like me on your own accord'
'Aww,what a gentleman he is' I thought as I smiled and blushed.I don't believe that I am cute,but with him writing it,I'm starting to believe.I put the note inside my bag along with my book and zipped it closed.As I put my bag down,the teacher came in and started the lesson
'Today is such a good mythical day' I thought as I listened to the teacher.
