??? POV
Ever since I wrote that note,I'm sure that Link will try and look for me because of his curiosity.I know that he'll be losing this game right from the start because I kept myself well hidden from him.
While I was paying attention to the teacher,I looked at Link at the corner of my eye. It looks like he was looking for someone,probably me. It was cute how he's trying to look for me but I can't show myself to him yet. I don't have enough courage to do that.
I was scared of rejection,especially from him,so I wrote all the things I want to say to him in this red sticky note since this is the only way I could compliment him,that I liked him etc.
As I thought of something to write in the note,I felt Link's eyes staring at my side of the face. I tried hard not to look back and force myself to look at the blank note. As I felt his eyes no longer looking at me,I sighed in relief. 'Good,I thought I was gonna get caught' I thought.
I finally thought of a word to write for Link and wrote it in the sticky note,planning to stick it at his bag at dismissal. I was lucky that I have the same classes as him,5 of them to be exact. It gives me the chance to watch him from the sidelines.
How his eyes shine everytime he reads his book,him focusing on the lesson,him being clumsy,his laugh,his smile,everything about him is fascinating to me and it made me like him more.
He may not know this but,I saw him at lunchtime heading to the cafeteria when he suddenly bumped on the wall,the note I gave him flying away. I chuckled at his clumsiness but when I looked again,he was holding the note so close to his chest as if he would lose it. My heart beats fast as soon as I saw that. Could it be that,he is starting to like me too?
Only one way to find out..
But maybe not now..
Soon,the bell rang. All of us grabbed our bags and walked out of the door one by one,I got behind Link and carefully stick the note on the side of the bag and walked casually as if nothing happened.
If there's one thing I know about Link it's that once he's focused on a certain subject,he would be oblivious to his surroundings. It makes it easier for me to stick notes with him unnoticed.
I hope that he'll see the note,or the girl to point out the note on the side of his bag.
