The episode begins with the camera looming over Marina's bedroom, where after a few minutes or so Marina flutters awake, letting out a yawn, and wiping the drool that was seeping out of her mouth with the back of her hand.
Marina: (stretching her arms) That was a good night rest. (leans over) What's the time right now?
She looks to her alarm clock, and struggles to read the time a bit due to her still not being that awake. But after she rubs her eyes a bit, she's able to tell that the clock reads seven in the morning.
Marina: (rubbing her eyes) Seven o'clock. That leaves us with at least 2 hours to get ready for work today. (sighs) And deal with our boss having us work an extra hour or two... (stretches her legs and rises from her bed) Well, no point in complaining about it. Might as well try and enjoy the morning for what's left of it.
Though she isn't able , Marina heard a faint echo, of pots and pans falling to the floor.
Marina: Was... Was that the sound of- (sighs) Either the same thing from yesterday repeated, or Pearl, (Y/N), or both are behind this. I just hope its one of the latter.
Marina just puts on a pair of slippers, having the same color as her ink color, and she makes her way out of her room, starting to walk to where she heard the noise. After a few minutes or so, Marina has found herself in the kitchen, and soon sticks her head out to look into the room. There she could see Pearl once again cooking pancakes, though this time there's no unconscious (Y/N) on the floor.
Marina: (confused) Pearl?
Pearl: (turns her head around) Hey, Rina! Just making us some pancakes for breakfast right now.
Marina: That's nice, Pearlie, but what was that noise I heard from my room?
Pearl: Oh, I accidentally dropped a frying pan or two. Sorry if I woke you up.
Marina: It's alright, Pearlie. Just remember to put them away once you're done making the pancakes. (looks around) Hey, do you think if (Y/N)'s awake yet?
Pearl: (shrugs) I dunno. I haven't heard much from him when I came down here.
Marina: (heads over to the counter) Well, alright, I gue- (notices something) Hold on. Why do I see two plates?
Pearl: The extra plate is for (Y/N). I'd figure he'd like a nice warm breakfast to start the day.
Marina: (raises an eyebrow) Again? Seriously, Pearlie? How do you even know he likes pancakes?
Pearl: That's the neat thing: I don't! But, I'll get an answer once he gives them a try! (puts a pancake onto the plate)
Marina: Who's to say he won't like a cold breakfast instead?
Pearl: (chuckles) Rina, I know you love them, but let's face it. A warm breakfast brings flavors that your frozen food cannot recreate.
Marina: (narrows her eyes) Is that a challenge?
Pearl: (narrows her eyes back) So what if it is?
Marina: (gets down to her height) If it is, then all I'll is, I think he'd prefer a cold breakfast when compared to your burning warm breakfast.
Pearl: (smirks) Alright then, if you're so confident then, how about we ask him which he prefers?
Marina: (smirks back) I think that sounds like a good idea.
Marina soon gets to work on making her cold breakfast while Pearl resumes making the second pancake stack. It doesn't take too long for the two idols to complete their preferred breakfast style, and soon walk up to each other, morning meals in one hand each.
