Ink and Beats (Splatoon 2 x Male Reader) [Rewritten]

Season 1 Episode 1: New Town, New Job, New Problem [Rewritten]

The episode begins with a shot of a subway driving on its tracks. The camera then zooms into the subway and we are then met with a purple ink colored Inkling wearing a black jacket, black shorts, and black shoes, He seems to be currently laying down on the chairs of the subway while using his suitcase as a pillow. This inkling seems to be (Y/N), who continues to try and fall asleep, but fails as the lights keep flickering on and off.

(Y/N): (sarcastically) Wow, I'm living in luxury. (looks to the chairs) I've been laying down on these chairs, which have been giving me back pain for the past two or three hours. (looks to his suitcase) My head is hurting due to the fact that I'm resting my head on my suitcase. And thanks to my friend I have barely enough money to buy myself an apartment. (sighs) I'm very grateful he gave me that money, if not these chairs would've been my new bed for the time being.

(Y/N) then decides to sit up from his seat as he looks out the window which shows Inkopolis Plaza.

(Y/N): Don't get me wrong, I would've loved to move to Inkopolis Plaza, but theres one problem... I have no money... Well I have money, but I just don't have money of my own.

(Y/N) decides to just stop looking at the Plaza, and goes back to laying down on the subway's chair. After thirty minutes or so the subway comes to a stop now reaching it's destination. (Y/N) then exits the subway groaning in pain, now wanting to check what that was.

(Y/N): (narrows his eyes while looking at the subway) Okay that is the LAST TIME I get on a subway.

(Y/N) then begins to walk up the stairs leading towards the outside world, and eventually he's met with Inkopolis Square and needless to say he's surprised to say the least.

(Y/N): (begins looking around Inkopolis Sqaure) So this is Inkopolis Square huh? Dang, the main area really ain't that big. (shrugs) Well that might be the reason why it was cheaper. And on the plus side if I'm trying to get my rap career going, I'm gonna need to be with people who on my scale of popularity. (smirks) And according to my research this place has these Idols called "Off the Hook", but now that I'm here their ratings are gonna go "Off the Rails".

(Y/N) looks around the area trying to see if anybody is laughing at his joke. Not seeing anyone laughing he decides to say it again only a little louder.

(Y/N): (coughs) I said "Off the Rails"! (looks around once more only to see no one laughing, but instead he gets some weird looks coming his way) Man, you people have no sense of humor.

(Y/N) begins walking through Inkopolis Square looking at the various buildings the area has to offer.

(Y/N): But for real though I'm gonna probably wanna get in contact with them so when people see me with them they could be like "Woah, I wanna be like that guy". (looks to his suitcase in his hand) Anyway I should probably put my case in a locker in the lobby, that way no one could or would steal all my precious valuables.

We then see (Y/N) go into the lobby and come back with no suitcase presumably putting it in a locker. (Y/N) then pulls out his money and then decides to think of his next move.

(Y/N): Okay, now what to do next. I could go ahead and buy an apartment, OR I could go on a shopping spree and get to know the area a bit. (puts a hand to his chin) What's the responsible thing to do? ((Y/N) begins to think of his options before finally coming up with an answer) Well since this is my first time coming here, I have no idea where to buy an apartment. So it's only fair I go on a shopping spree to learn the area, so that way I could know where to buy an apartment.

(Y/N) then runs off with the money he has, and for the next two hours he goes into different stores, buys some food, even checks out some of Off the Hooks songs only to find out they are actually good. Now he's sitting outside of Crusty Seans eating some more food because he was still hungry.
