Soifon was initially uncertain about how to respond when she sensed Erin's lips touching hers. However, she gradually closed her eyes and reciprocated the kiss, causing her pale cheeks to blush. As Erin felt Soifon kissing back, she intensified the embrace, encircling her waist with her arms, while the raven-haired woman reciprocated by wrapping her arms around Erin's neck.

After the two women separated, Soifon playfully teased, 'Perhaps you could have expressed your intentions before initiating the kiss!'

"Soifon, I must express that the lack of enjoyment would be evident in such a manner, particularly in light of the expression on your face." Erin retorted, accompanied by a playful smile.

Soifon playfully rolled her eyes and leaned towards the brunette. "Therefore, I am curious as to the reason behind your decision to kiss me," she inquired.

Erin gazed upon her friend with a smile on her face and whispered in a hushed tone, 'Can you not deduce my intentions?' The brunette then lowered her forehead onto her friend's, their eyes meeting.

'Perhaps it is because you harbor affection for me, and instead of expressing it verbally, you chose to kiss me.' Soifon responded with a smile, her blue eyes shining with love, while Erin's green eyes displayed their own fervor.

'Yes, I do indeed have feelings for you, Soifon,' Erin began but was interrupted by a finger pressed against her lips.

Soifon gently pressed her finger against Erin's lips and spoke in a calm tone. 'I feel the same way, although there was uncertainty for some time.' She withdrew her finger from Erin's lips, causing the brunette to release a sigh. 'What's troubling you?' asked Soifon, tilting her head slightly.

Erin replied, 'It's nothing. I am just grateful that you reciprocate my feelings.' After discussing their emotions, both women settled onto the couch. Erin gazed hopefully into Soifon's blue eyes and posed a sincere question. 'Would you consider being my girlfriend? We can take things at a slow pace if you prefer.'

Soifon contemplated Erin's question, gazing deeply into her captivating green eyes. It took the composed, black-haired woman some time to formulate a response before finally answering, 'I would enjoy that arrangement, but for the time being, let's keep it between ourselves, at least until you are comfortable sharing with Voight, if you so desire.' Resting her head on Erin's chest, she noticed a wide smile adorning Erin's face. In a gentle tone.

she reassured, 'That is completely acceptable. We can disclose our relationship to others when you feel ready.' As the brunette wrapped her arm around Soifon, there was a sense of tranquility that seemed to lull her to sleep.

'Good night, Little Bee,' Erin whispered, the warmth of her breath near Soifon's ear. 'From now on, I will protect you, ensuring that Ace will never lay a hand on you again.' Those whispered words held a profound conviction from the brunette.

Erin gazed downward at Soifon when she received no response from the younger woman. A smile appeared on her face as she noticed that Soifon had dozed off in her embrace. She held onto the raven-haired woman securely and gently rested her own head on top of Soifon's, allowing her eyes to close as sleep gradually overcame her.

* Ace's P.O.V*

Ace had trailed Erin and Soifon to the brunette's apartment and positioned himself across the street on a different building, diligently observing them through binoculars. His grip on the optical device tightened as he attentively eavesdropped on their conversation. "Surely this woman must possess a reckless disregard for her own safety," his associate expressed in utter astonishment.

Ace disregarded his comment as he observed the two women moving around, and he couldn't help but experience a surge of anger as he witnessed both women engaging in a kiss. He had previously cautioned Soifon against forming close connections or disclosing their activities to anyone, and now he would need to strategize his approach to address the situation involving her and Erin.

"What actions shall we undertake, Ace?" Ace raised his gaze towards his companion, his icy blue eyes piercing into the brown eyes of the other man. "I request that you continue to trail them diligently, ensuring to capture photographic evidence. Meanwhile, I will strategize while you carry out this task." He responded, as he stood up from his position after thoroughly observing the two women through the binoculars, confirming their deep slumber in each other's embrace.

"While you pursue them, I shall seek assistance from a friend." He specified, handing over the binoculars and giving the other man a stern gaze. "And Brian, I implore you not to fail in this endeavor, for you are aware of the consequences that await." Ace warned, descending the ladder and making his way towards his vehicle. "Rest assured, my friend." Brian called out, assuring him.

After ensuring Brian received his orders, Ace proceeded to enter his vehicle and departed into the inclement night.

'Enjoy yourself while you still can, Soifon,' he warned sternly. 'Once we apprehend you, you will regret not keeping silent. We shall administer punishment upon your capture, possibly even towards Erin if you fails to cooperate.'

* Soifon's P.O.V*

Soifon awakened abruptly upon hearing the sound of an alarm, causing her to stir in her slumber. With a twitch in her eyes, she attempted to reach for her phone, yet her efforts proved futile. Confused, she opened her blue eyes and surveyed her surroundings, seeking the whereabouts of her phone. In the process, she noticed a peculiar sensation beneath her head, prompting her to raise her head and discover that she had been using Erin as a pillow.

Blinking away the remnants of sleep, she gazed at Erin's tranquil countenance, pondering the circumstances that led them to this moment. Reflecting for a few minutes, a smile graced her lips as the recollection of Erin's request to be her girlfriend flooded her thoughts, to which she had readily accepted.

'It feels like a dream,' she murmured, rising from the perch and gently planting a kiss on her lover's cheek, stirring the brunette from her slumber. She had nearly freed herself from the couch when the older woman pulled her back, reclaiming her presence.

Erin inquired sleepily, 'Where do you intend to go, my dear?' Soifon couldn't help but blush at the endearing term. 'It's time for us to prepare for work,' the dark-haired woman elaborated, 'I was planning to deactivate the alarm and then prepare breakfast for both of us.' Soifon gazed into Erin's emerald eyes, as Erin reciprocated by looking into her own sapphire-blue eyes. 'Is that indeed your intention?' Erin responded, lacking enthusiasm for getting out of bed.

Soifon found it impossible to resist laughing at Erin's comment. 'Yes, because we are obligated to wake up and go to work. However, if you are keen on it, we could inquire with Voight if he would grant us a day off. Although, considering it is only my third day, I highly doubt he will approve.' Soifon murmured softly as she leaned down to gently kiss Erin's lips. The drowsy brunette reciprocated the kiss.

'That is true, but once the weekend arrives, it will be just the two of us.' the older woman responded.

Soifon couldn't help but smile at her words. 'You have my assurance.' Soifon whispered as she rose from the couch, leaving Erin to fully awaken.
