( Picture is Bunny Erin's mother!)

Voight proceeded to return to the headquarters where Antonio and Jay had taken Ace and Jack. He impatiently gripped the steering wheel tightly, determined to impart a lesson upon Ace and Jack that they would never forget, hoping that it would leave a lasting impression on them.

Upon arriving at the headquarters, Voight skillfully maneuvered the truck through the garage door, guided by Antonio who had opened it. He parked the vehicle as soon as he had pulled in.

Stepping out of the truck, Voight's piercing gaze fell upon the hunched figures of Ace and Jack, who were securely bound in the interrogation cage, reserved for non-compliant suspects. This, however, was a different matter entirely.

Approaching the cage, Voight observed as Ace lifted his eyes from his lap to glare at the detectives. In a defiant tone, Ace snarled, "What do you want? Release me immediately." However, he was swiftly pushed back down when Voight entered the cage. With a cold demeanor, the gray-haired man commanded, "Sit down."

Ace glared at Voight, who approached him. He heard Jack starting to awaken and glanced up to see Voight entering the cage with them," What is your intention?" the blond inquired, his voice lacking the same coldness as Ace's.

Voight regarded the two men with an icy stare, questioning," Would you like to understand why you are in this situation?" He grabbed Jack by his collar and forcefully slammed him against the metal, asserting," Do you desire to know?"

Jack tightly gripped the bars of the cage, emitting a growl as he redirected his intense blue gaze towards Voight, who pressed his head against the metal bars. "You are here because of your actions towards Erin and Soifon. I intend to inflict upon you the same pain you caused them," Voight hissed, his voice dripping with venom.

"And what will that be?" Ace inquired, observing as Voight restrained Jack against the cage. "You will soon discover when it is your turn," Voight responded, releasing Jack to the ground and proceeding to retrieve a metal chain. "And Jack, you will regret everything you have done, especially for touching Erin," Voight informed him sternly, his voice filled with retribution as he wound the chain around his fist.

Jack glared at Voight as he rose from the ground. "And how do you plan to accomplish that?" the blond asked, receiving no answer. Voight forcefully struck Jack's stomach with his chain-clad fist, causing the blond to recoil against the cage walls. " This is what I will do. I will not kill the two of you, but I will make your lives difficult," Voight stated with an air of determination.

"You will regret hurting both of them, and do not fret, Ace will receive the same treatment," Voight declared, delivering another forceful blow to Jack's stomach and then ruthlessly striking his face with his fist.

*Erin's P.O.V*

Four hours have passed since their arrival at the hospital, and an additional three hours of waiting for Soifon to complete her surgery. Erin anxiously paced the waiting room, desperately awaiting any news on her significant other.

She nervously fiddled with her fingers as she continued her pacing, being the sole person in the room at the moment. Voight had informed her that he would join her once he had finished his tasks.

The frustrated brunette let out a sigh of frustration as she continued to pace, ignoring the curious stares from the others in the waiting room. All that mattered to her in that moment was the well-being of her lover.

A figure approached the front desk and inquired about Erin's presence. The nurse pointed towards the brunette, who had created a noticeable path on the floor due to her pacing. "Thank you," replied the individual, a short-haired blonde, as they made their way towards their daughter.

Erin remained completely absorbed in her thoughts, too busy pacing and lost in her own world to notice someone approaching. It was only when she heard her name being called that she raised her green eyes, filled with hostility, and recognized who it was. "What is it that you want, mother?" she demanded.

"Why are you displaying such hostility?" Bunny questioned, a slight offense reflected in her eyes as she approached Erin, who responded with a distrustful gaze. "Allow me to reiterate, what is it that you desire? I am not inclined to deal with your unpleasant behavior as I have more important matters to attend to," Erin stated, crossing her arms across her chest.

With a frown, Bunny observed her daughter and adopted the same defensive stance. "I have come here simply to check up on you, naturally," she retorted, crossing her arms as well. "Is that considered a transgression? I have been informed of the events that transpired concerning you," she mentioned, taking a step closer to Erin, who in turn moved backwards. "Please refrain from advancing. As you can evidently perceive, I am perfectly fine. Hence, what is the motive behind your intermittent display of maternal concern?" the brunette inquired.

Feeling the need to retreat in response to Erin's step back, Bunny stepped forward once again. "Come on, Erin, do not adopt such a stance. It is out of concern for your well-being that I am here. Were you injured?" the blonde asked, concern evident in her eyes as she observed Erin's bruised face.

"I am relatively unharmed, other than sustaining a bruised face, stomach, and a few fractured ribs," Erin responded icily.

"According to a friend of mine, I am aware of the situation and the involvement of Soifon in causing trouble for you, Erin. I am deeply displeased that the Raven-haired woman has returned to Chicago within such a short time frame and has already caused difficulties for you." Bunny observed her daughter's face with narrowed eyes and clenched her fist.

"I would like to express my opinion on this matter," Bunny stated, receiving a death glare from Erin when she mentioned Soifon. Erin demanded, "And what would that opinion be? If you have nothing positive to say about my girlfriend, then I suggest you refrain from speaking." Erin growled coldly.

"Firstly, I must express my thoughts regardless of your acceptance," Bunny retorted, locking her gaze with her daughter's intense green eyes. "In my opinion, Soifon is not suitable for you, especially considering the consequences she has brought upon you. Just take a look at the situation you find yourself in." The blonde began.

"Soifon has enlisted you in this taxing game, and for what purpose? To further her own interests? If she genuinely cared for you, she would not have exposed you to danger with this Ace," Bunny countered, tightly gripping her arm. "Erin, you deserve someone superior to Soifon, a woman who consistently brings trouble wherever she goes." Bunny took a deep breath when she observed Erin's fiery gaze.

Erin pressed her lips together as she endured her mother's derogatory remarks about her partner, refusing to tolerate it any longer. "I refuse to entertain any words that escape your lips, Bunny," Erin seethed through clenched teeth. "You have no authority to dictate how I live my life or who I choose to be with." She took a menacing step towards her mother.

"And to set the record straight, Soifon is an exceptional woman. She surpasses you in every way, and she did not coerce me into anything," Erin declared, her hand raised as if ready to grasp Bunny by her shirt collar, disregarding any onlookers.

Gripping onto her mother's shirt despite her mother's objections, Erin stared into her mother's eyes with intensity. "I was fully aware of what I was involving myself in, and I have no intention of changing anything. Therefore, I kindly request that you refrain from interfering in my affairs and promptly leave this place." Erin forcefully pushed Bunny away.

Bunny, with her piercing blue eyes, glared at her daughter. "So, you are willing to push your own mother away for someone insignificant like Soifon?" Bunny gradually moved away as Erin continued to glare at her. "You ceased being a mother to me a long time ago. Voight is the only parental figure I acknowledge. Now, I strongly advise you to depart before I take matters into my own hands." Erin's tone was cold as she issued her command.

"Very well, but do not come crying to me when Soifon eventually abandons you once again and drags you down to whatever wretched place she ends up in." With those final words, Bunny left, rudely pushing past Ashley, who had just entered the waiting room without offering an apology.
