You woke up, holding your head. You groaned softly. You looked around, seeing you were in a black void. You could hear whispers, some inaudible, and some calling your name. Your arms hugged your body as you felt cold. You wandered around aimlessly. You yelped as a sharp pain struck your head. The pain felt so bad, your eyes started to water. Then all the memories came flooding back to you. Tears began to spill from your eyes. You dropped to your knees and began to cry softly. You hurt. Not only physically, but emotionally as well. You never thought your brother would stoop so low to hurt you. Your tears dripped down onto the void's floor, little ripples forming as each drop fell from your eyes. After a few minutes, you sat with your knees hugged to your chest. Tears continued to spill from your eyes. Your sniffles seemed to echo in the empty void. You looked up as you felt a presence near you. You gasped as a gigantic, horrifyingly hellish version of Fredbear stood in front of you, looking down at you.
"Do not be frightened. I am not your foe," he said gently.
"Fredbear?" you asked quietly. He nodded. He leaned down to you, gently wiping your tears away with his thumbs.
"There, now. Don't cry. You're safe," he said softly. You flinched a bit at his touch.
"It's alright. I'm not here to hurt you," he said, his voice remaining gentle. He gently touched the side of your head. Even he seemed saddened to see it.
"I'm so sorry," he said softly.
"It's...not your...fault," you said, sniffling a bit. He held his paw out to you.
"Come. We must go, now," he said.
"G-go where?" you asked softly.
"I'll explain everything when I get you there," he said. You placed your small hand in his paw. He helped you up. He began to walk, guiding you in a direction while still holding your hand. A big, white door stood in the distance. The both of you walked to it. Fredbear opened the door, leading you in. He closed the door as he followed you into a bedroom you didn't recognize. He sat you down on the bed.
"Now, I'll answer your questions in a moment. Your bandages need to be changed," he said, standing up.
"Stay here. I'll be right back," he said. You nodded and watched as he teleported away. At this point, you had already been questioning what you were seeing. Fredbear soon returned, startling you.
"Sorry," he apologized. He sat down on the bed. He gently removed the bandages around your head and threw them into a nearby trash can. You winced as he started to clean the wound. More tears began to spill down your face. You whimpered as the pain increased.
"Shhhhhh," he shushed softly. You flinched a bit.
"I know it hurts, but I need you to be still," he said. You let him continue to clean the wound. He soon got to wrapping your head back up. Once he was done, he looked at you.
"It's not too tight, is it?" he asked. You shook your head 'no'.
"Good. Now, you are in the dream world. You are asleep at the moment, and I am in your mind, which is why I'm here. I brought you here not long after your father brought me to you," he said. You tilted your head slightly.
"Remember those plushies your father gave you? Every one of them has enough magic in them for us to be able to become real," he said.
"You're real?" you asked. He nodded.
"You are the first and only one to see me in this form," he said.
"Why?" you asked.
"Because I wanted to make you feel better. I am more than aware of what happened to you. I want to help you," he said. You looked down at the bed for a moment.
"Where's (B/n)...and where's Dad?" you asked. Fredbear gave a heavy sigh.
"Your brother...did a very bad thing to you. He almost killed you. He is being punished for being bad...and your father...he's at home. He left after he put me in your arms," Fredbear said.
"Where am I? I mean, not me now, my other me," you said. He gently placed his gigantic paw over your hand. His paw oddly enough felt warm against your cold hand.
"You're in the hospital. You won't be awake for a while, and with your condition being so critical, so you'll be stuck in the hospital for a while, I'm afraid," he said.
"Oh..." you said, your voicing sounding blue.
"But you'll be alright. You'll just be here while you're asleep. And as long as I'm here with you, nothing will hurt you," he said.
"Why do you want to protect me?" you asked.
"Because either no one else can or will," he said softly.
"Especially when it comes to the others," he said.
"Others?" you asked.
"Yes. There are others here. You mustn't ever leave this room when you're here. The others might try to attack you," he said.
"Why would they want to attack me?" you asked.
"Because they don't know you're here. And if they were to discover you here, they wouldn't know why you're here. The others aren't very nice, you see. But one day I'll introduce you to them one at a time to not overwhelm you. Then we'll go from there," he said. He then looked over at the clock on the wall. It was already 4 A.M.
"Where are the others now?" you asked him.
"They're here as well. They're just a bit busy at the moment," he said. You then jumped as you heard a loud thud. Fredbear looked down at you.
"It's alright. I need you to stay here so I can go get that sorted out," he said. He held both of your hands.
"Promise me you'll stay here," he said.
"I promise," you said.
"I hold you to your promise. If you break it, I cannot guarantee your safety," he said.
"I'll stay. I promise," you said. He nodded and got up, quickly leaving the room.
