The sound of something caught your ears, waking you. You looked up to see Fredbear, who was still holding you. He had his eyes closed, and his breathing and heartbeat were relaxed. You looked around, listening. It sounded like a guitar being played, it's strings being gently plucked with every note. The sound seemed to be coming from outside the left door. You looked up at Fredbear and carefully tried to wriggle out of his grasp without waking him. That was a fail, however, as he opened his eyes, looking down at you."Where do you think you're going?" he asked.
"Nowhere," you said.
"Don't lie to me," he said. You sighed. You stayed quiet and watched Fredbear's ears twitch, as he heard the music too. He looked back down at you.
"You weren't going to leave this room, were you, (Y/n)?" he asked.
"No," you said. He sighed and set you down at the foot of the bed.
"You lie to me one more time, I will leave this room and let the monsters have you," he said, crossing his arms.
"N-no," you stammered.
"Then tell me the truth," he said. You bowed your head in defeat.
"Well?" he asked. You looked back up at him.
"I wanted to see what that sound was coming from," you said. He hummed and got up, walking towards the left door.
"Where are you going? I didn't lie, I promise! Fredbear?" you asked. He turned to look at you and put his finger to his muzzle, as to say 'shh'. You watched him as he carefully opened the door and looked down the hall. The sounds were louder, now that the door had been opened. You were curious, but didn't want him to get mad at you and leave you alone, so you stayed where he put you.
"Bonnie," he said. The sounds then stopped. He gestured someone to 'come here' with his finger. He began speaking quietly with someone before backing away from the door. You watched as a big, nightmarish, blue bunny walked in. His glowing, purple eyes landed on you. He walked over to you. You backed away a bit.
"Woah, hey there kid, it's okay. I won't bite," he said. Fredbear closed the door and walked over to you and the bunny, who knelt down to you.
"So you're the little one Freddy told me about," he said. You tilted your head upon hearing Freddy's name.
"(Y/n), this is Bonnie. He won't hurt you. As long as he's got his guitar, he's harmless," Fredbear joked. Bonnie shot a glare at him. Fredbear smirked. Bonnie scoffed and turned his attention back to you.
"How are you holding up?" Bonnie asked.
"Okay, I guess..." you said.
"You guess? Does Fredbear not take good care of you?" Bonnie asked.
"No, he does! I'm just...I don't know," you said.
"I'm just playing around, kid. I know you're going through hel- uh...heck. Just like I know Fredbear's doing his best to help you get better," Bonnie said. You looked up at the gigantic golden bear, who was looking back down at you. He knew you were shy, but he expected you to at least try to converse with the rabbit. You looked back at Bonnie. You flinched as he held out his paw. You looked up at Fredbear again. He nodded. You placed your hand in the bunny's paw.
"I'm sorry if I frighten you in any way. Though, I don't think I'm frightening compared to Goldie over there...even he scares me," Bonnie said in a hushed voice. Fredbear scowled a bit, his arms crossed. Bonnie could feel Fredbear's glare and cleared his throat, standing up.
"So...how long has she been like this?" Bonnie asked.
"It's her fifth night here, if that says anything," Fredbear said.
"Oh..." Bonnie said, looking at you.
"I'm so sorry, kid..." he said. You nodded.
"So...I hear from Freddy that she must be protected," Bonnie said.
"At all costs," Fredbear said, looking down at you.
"Might I ask why? Boss told us not to form bonds with humankind. Especially children," Bonnie said.
"And I'm your other Boss telling you otherwise," Fredbear stated bluntly.
"He's going to kill you when he finds out," Bonnie said.
"If he kills me, so be it. I'm not letting him hurt her," Fredbear said.
"You really are attached...why?" Bonnie asked.
"She didn't do anything wrong. Just because she's the bite victim, doesn't mean she's our victim," Fredbear said.
"This is why I always preferred you over him. You actually have a heart while still putting your foot down in the role of authority as a leader," Bonnie said.
"Nightmare is purely made up of anger, fear, and hatred, and nothing more. It is that very same anger, fear, and hatred that makes one weak," Fredbear said.
"He's more than that if he's capable of hurting us with no remorse...speaking of which...we haven't seen him lately. Have you?" Bonnie asked.
"No, but that is odd," Fredbear said.
"Even his plush is nowhere to be found. He's been missing altogether since.....actually, he's been missing since..." Bonnie said, his voice trailing off as he then looked at you.
"Since she received us..." Fredbear said, realizing.
"Yeah...do you think..." Bonnie said.
"He's hiding...which means she cannot be left alone under any circumstance," Fredbear said. He knelt down to you, getting a firm grip of your hands.
"Remember who I told you to stay away from?" he asked you. You nodded.
"You must stay away from them, as well as any of the others who don't know who you are yet. Your life depends on it," he said. You nodded.
"Now that the others' plushes are in the hospital room with you, you must be aware of your surroundings while you're here. If danger finds you, you keep yourself away from it. Do you understand?" he asked. You nodded.
"Your soul cannot get stuck here. If you die here, or anywhere in the dream world, you die in the real world and your soul will remain here and Nightmare will torture you," Fredbear said. His voice got more serious as he spoke. You may have only been a child, but Fredbear made it clear that you had to survive.
"We will help you as much as we can. We need to be very watchful in case he decides to get close enough to actually become a threat," Fredbear said. You held onto his paws. He looked down at you.
"If I left you in the void.....it's very likely he would have taken your soul already. I don't doubt he was probably already trying to find you in the void," Fredbear said. You winced softly as your head began to hurt. He unwrapped the wrappings around your head.
"Oh...wow..." Bonnie said as he looked at the wound. Fredbear hummed and teleported away, returning with med supplies. He began to clean the wound, making you wince.
"Hold Bonnie's paw," Fredbear said. You looked up at Bonnie, who once more offered his paw to you. You gently placed your hand in his paw. Your pain began to lessen.
"Better?" Fredbear asked. You nodded slightly.
"Good. That means Bonnie got the right idea," Fredbear said. Soon, Fredbear was done, putting everything away and returning to you. He got you to lie down. He gently touched your forehead, easing your pain.
"Well, it was nice to meet you, (Y/n). I'm sure you'll need your rest now. See ya," Bonnie said. You gave a nod and watched as he walked out. You felt a bit drowsy. You touched Fredbear's paw. He gently moved his paw to the side of your face, lightly grazing his thumb against it. You felt your body begin to relax. It wasn't long before you once more slipped into darkness.
