You felt a bit cold as you woke up in the dream world. Though you were covered with the blanket, you shivered. You looked around the room. Your eyes landed on Fredbear as he sat in a chair next to the bed, reading an old-looking book of some kind. You winced a bit. You were already starting to get annoyed with your head hurting like this. Fredbear looked up from his book. He closed the book and set it aside. He reached for your hand, gently touching it. Your pain started to fade immediately.

"Better?" he asked. You gave a slight nod.

"You're cold..." he said, noticing the temperature of your hand. There was then a knock at the door.

"Yes?" Fredbear asked. The door opened, revealing Freddy and his children.

"Sorry...they were begging me to take them to come see her," he said.

"It's fine. She just woke up," Fredbear said. Freddy nodded and shut the door as he and his cubs walked in. Freddy and Fredbear both watched as the three small bears climbed up onto the bed.

"Be careful," Freddy said to them. Freddy sat down on the bed and looked at you.

"I don't recall ever properly introducing myself, nor my children...though I'm sure Fredbear told you about me," he said to you. You nodded.

"Faz, of course got to you first. This one is Bear, and this one is Fred. They are referred to as the Freddles," he said, pointing out each little bear. You nodded. The three little bears hugged you. You hugged them back. Fredbear still held your hand. The Freddles were warm, but Fredbear was warmer. You wanted him to cuddle you. He gave you a soft smile as you looked at him. He knew what you wanted, but he wanted you to interact with the Freddles more. After all, Freddy was the only other Nightmare you knew at the moment, and because Fredbear knew Freddy wasn't going to hurt you, Fredbear wanted you to get used to Freddy and the Freddles.

"How's her head?" Freddy asked Fredbear.

"Only one way to find out," Fredbear said, standing up and stepping over to you. You sat still as he unwrapped your head. He threw away the wrapping and gauze.

"It does look better...still needs to remain covered though," he said. He teleported away, then returned. You flinched as he got to cleaning your head. The Freddles hugged you tightly, making your pain numb itself a little bit. Freddy felt bad for you as he watched Fredbear tend to the wound. As soon as Fredbear was done, he sighed and put the med supplies away. He returned and sat next to you. You looked up at him, wanting to crawl into his lap. Your eyes pleaded to him before he sighed and gave in, pulling you into his lap. You hugged him, happy as he wrapped his arms around you. You sighed softly, already starting to feel warm.

"I've never seen such an interaction between a Nightmare and a human," Freddy said. Fredbear sighed.

"It is...nice, seeing a positive interaction, for once," Freddy said.

"What does that mean?" you asked.

"Well...we aren't supposed to be nice to humans," Fredbear said.

"Why?" you asked.

"There is...a bear...he looks like me, but bigger and more evil-looking. He must be avoided if you wish to survive. He is the reason anyone of the Nightmare species has ever done any kind of bad to a human. His soul was wronged many moons ago. He has fury and hatred flowing through his heart because of it. I don't want you getting hurt because of him or the others that are under his influence...like...his...insane...wife..." he said, his voice trailing off.

"Speaking of...she tried to get out again. I think Nightmare may have tampered with the music box trying to get her out," Freddy said.

"Well, that is a problem. Neither one of them need to be near (Y/n)," Fredbear said. He looked down at you.

"Another being you should avoid...she is a disturbing black figure with a face of a doll. If you ever hear her cries, her song, or her voice, it's a trap to lure you in. This is another reason you must stay within this room. And should you ever wander, never, ever follow the voice or the cries. Not even if she sings or if you hear her music. Tell me you understand," he said, seriousness in his tone.

"I understand," you said.

"Good," he said, hugging you close to him. You yawned softly.

"You can sleep if you're still tired. We won't wake you," he said softly. You nodded, closing your eyes. He pulled the blanket over you as he held you close. You pressed your small body against his, trying to get as warm as possible. You could hear the sound of his heart, which had become a familiarity to you at this point. That alone, could you fall asleep to. He gently ran his claws through your hair. It only took a few minutes for you to fall asleep.

"You care for her something fierce, don't you?" Freddy asked.

"Of course I do," Fredbear said.

"I get it. You want to protect her, though you've only just met her...I'll help you," Freddy said.

"Thank you," Fredbear said. Freddy nodded.

"Nightmare almost killed me when I got protective over my kids...you knocked some sense into him that night. I am eternally grateful for that," Freddy said.

"Someone has to put him in line when he loses his temper," Fredbear said.

"I don't know what he'll do when he finds her...but when he eventually does...you can rely on me to help keep her away from him," Freddy said.

"You've always been so loyal, Fazbear. I appreciate that," Fredbear said. Freddy nodded. He leaned down and picked up his children.

"We'll leave you be," Freddy said. Fredbear nodded and watched Freddy leave. Once Freddy left, Fredbear looked down at you. He was worried about you. He sighed and leaned back, placing his paw on the center of your back as he kept you in his hold.
