It was the next night in the dream world, and you had woken up to the sound of faint, staticky noises. You groaned and sat up. You saw another little, brown bear, who sat next to Faz. You looked around the room. Fredbear wasn't around. You looked back down at the two bears.

"Hello," you said quietly. Faz gently grabbed your hand and placed it on his head. You smiled, beginning to pet him. He purred softly for a few moments until you jumped, seeing movement under your blanket. You scooted away, watching the movement. Soon, another small bear emerged out from underneath the blanket and looked at you. The three little bears all looked at you. Faz went over to you and rubbed your hand to try and calm you down. Soon, you heard something that sounded like it was coming from under your bed. You stiffened as the noise continued. Your eyes widened as a big, brown, clawed paw reached up and dug into the sheets of the bed. You watched as a big, nightmarish, brown bear emerged, standing up to his full height and looking down at you. He growled at first, but then saw your head, then he saw Faz hugging you. He drew closer to you, gently touching your head, which made you wince a bit.

"Your poor child...what happened to you? And what are you doing here? Surely you can't be put here for us to scare the life out of you as punishment for misdeeds," he said. You looked up at him. He sat down next to you.

"Who brought you here, child?" he asked. You didn't want to speak. You were unsure of him. You had assumed he was Freddy, since he looked like a bigger version of Faz and the other two little, brown bears. He kept looking at your head. There was a little blood seeping down your face from the injury.

"I'll be right back. We're going to deal with this before it gets worse," he said, getting up and leaving the room.

"Ow..." you winced, feeling a pricking sensation in your arm. The feeling was soon nagging at you. What was going on? You had wondered if something was happening to your body in the real world that was causing this feeling. Freddy walked back into the room, seeing you rubbing your arm a bit. He sat down next to you.

"Are you alright?" he asked. You looked up at him and nodded. He unwrapped your head and looked at the wound.

"Oh," he said quietly, shocked at the sight of the nasty wound.

"Wait..." he said, thinking for a moment.

"You're the bite victim, aren't you?" he asked. You didn't answer.

"You're related to (B/n)," he said. You nodded, but questioned how he knew about your brother.

"So you're his sister...but...what are you doing here? This isn't a safe place for you," he said. There was silence for a moment before he began to tend to the wound.

"If Nightmare finds you here, there's no telling what he'll do," he said. You winced a bit as he was cleaning your wound.

"You'll be okay. I'm going to help you. I don't know how or why you're here of all places, but we can't risk Nightmare getting ahold of you. You'd be considered lucky if he spared you, but we aren't taking that chance," he said. You hadn't had a clue what he was talking about, but you didn't like the sound of this 'Nightmare', whomever he was.

Soon, Freddy had your head wrapped back up. He put away the med supplies and sat back down on the bed.

"I am so sorry what your brother did to you. You're so young...and yet he practically stole your life from you," he said. You sighed. You, Freddy, and the cubs all looked up as you heard the door open and saw Fredbear walk in. He seemed to glare at Freddy.

"Fredbear," you said softly. He looked at you, his expression softening. Freddy noticed this and spoke.

"Before you say or do anything, I had no intentions of hurting her. I just tended to her injury," he said. Fredbear relaxed a bit, relieved. He went over to you and gently touched the side of your face. You held onto his massive paw.

"Is he telling the truth?" Fredbear asked. You nodded.

"Good," he said.

"You don't have to worry about me alerting Nightmare. Even I feel he shouldn't get ahold of her," Freddy said.

"Not even the others are acquainted with her yet. I don't know how long she'll be here, but it's better than her being lost in a dark void," Fredbear said.

"So you're the one who brought her here," Freddy said.

"Yes. She was in pain...and she was lost. I couldn't leave her," Fredbear said.

"Can't say I blame you," Freddy said.

"Fredbear..." you said. He looked down at you.

"Did they do something to me in the real world?" you asked.

"Yes. They hooked you up to an IV drip...they're giving your body nutrients to keep you alive. They don't know how long you'll be asleep, but they're trying to do everything they can to help," he said. Freddy's ears were pinned back a bit upon hearing that. His eyes bore that of sadness.

"Are you asking because you felt it?" he asked. You nodded.

"Speaking of the real world..." Fredbear said, thinking for a moment.

"Your father got one of the nurses to bring a box for you to the hospital room. I feel that box contains everyone's plush. It seems my suspicion proved itself correct, seeing as Freddy is here and is able to interact with you," Fredbear said.

"What do you mean? We reside here," Freddy said. Fredbear looked at him.

"We have to be within range in the real world to be able to interact with her in the dream world. That's why I was the only one appearing to her here. The presence of our plushes in the real world give us a stronger connection. If we are too far away in the real world, we cannot so much as speak to her. She wouldn't be able to hear us or see us," Fredbear explained. He looked down at you.

"If you feel as if you are being watched, it's possible you are due to the others being in the same room with you in the real world...therefore someone could be watching you in the dream world," he said.

"The others could do anything to her while she's vulnerable...and if he somehow makes his way in that room with her, he could turn into his natural form and harm her without being seen...regardless of whether or not someone else is in the room with her. He's not in that box with the rest of us, but none of us know where his plush is," Freddy said.

"Which is exactly why I worry," Fredbear said. You looked up at Fredbear. He looked at you.

"We will keep you safe. It seems Freddy is an ally to you now," Fredbear said. Freddy gave a nod.

"When I'm not around, it's likely Freddy will be," Fredbear said. Freddy again nodded. You yawned softly, leaning your head on Fredbear's chest. He gently rubbed your back.

"I could only imagine how exhausted her body is in the real world," Freddy said.

"She's been quite tired since she's been here," Fredbear said. Freddy's cubs all went over to their father, settling into his lap and yawning.

"Looks like (Y/n) isn't the only one who's tired," Fredbear said softly. Freddy nodded and got up.

"We'll leave you two be. I know she's in good paws with you," Freddy said. Fredbear nodded and watched him walk out. Fredbear settled himself down onto the bed, pulling you with him. He knew it was a lot easier for you to sleep when he was around. It didn't take long for you to drift off to sleep.
