Once you woke up the following night in the real world, you felt a bit drowsy. You immediately noticed the IV in your arm had been taken out, and the doctor, along with a couple nurses were in the room, looking at you.

"Hi, sweetie. You are all done. Everything looks normal and your dad is on his way to this room to come get you and take you home," the nurse said with a smile. It only took a few minutes before your dad walked in. You oddly smiled, though part of you felt sympathy for him, due to him looking as if he hadn't slept in ages. He went over to you and hugged you tightly. You hugged back. He sighed a breath of relief. You were soon put in a wheelchair and a nurse rolled you out to your dad's car, your dad following behind with your box of plushies. You kept ahold of Nightmare and Fredbear. Your father put the box in the car and helped you into the car before getting in himself. The nurse walked away with the wheelchair and you and your dad were soon on the way home.

"(Y/n)...there's something I need you to understand. Okay?" your father asked as he drove down the road. You looked at him.

"Your brother won't be home. He got sent somewhere bad people go," he said. He sighed heavily.

"Why is it you've always been my only child that never causes problems?" he asked. You looked down at Nightmare and Fredbear, who were both looking up at you.

"He does tell the truth to some extent. Your brother had gone off to jail for hurting you," Nightmare told you telepathically. The three of you knew your father was trying to make it so that you didn't worry so much about the whereabouts of your brother. Nightmare had already told you what your brother's current situation was, but you didn't say anything in response to your father.

"Do you think you'll be able to get yourself cleaned up okay when we get home?" your dad asked you.

"Yeah," you said. He nodded. He glanced at Nightmare.

"Do you still want me to put Nightbear in a safe place?" he asked. There was silence for a few moments.

"Dad...why did you get rid of Nightbear?" you asked.

"Sweetheart...he wasn't supposed to be thrown away...they scrapped him because of a malfunction he had...I told them to keep him in the warehouse so I could fix him, but...they took him to a landfill instead...I guess he...made his way back to us...somehow...I don't think he'll ever forgive me. I'm pretty sure he's still mad at me. I don't think he believes me either," your father said. You looked back down at Nightmare, who was glaring at your father. You pet Nightmare, distracting him. His ruby-red eyes looked up at you. In a way, you understood where Nightmare was coming from. He was angry. He had been broken and abandoned. He might have even been jealous that Fredbear was getting close to you. Perhaps he was even getting a bit defensive over you. After all, he had known you since you were a baby. His ears lowered a bit, and a soft huff was heard as you continued to pet him.

**After a mostly silent car ride home, you and your dad got out of the car after arriving home. Your father retrieved your box of plushies from the back seat. You placed Nightmare and Fredbear on top of the box and carefully took the box from him.

"Are you sure you got that, Honey? There's more plushies in that box than you think," he said.

"I got it," you said.

"Alright...just be careful," he said. You both went up to the front door of the house and walked in. Your father watched you as you carried all your plushies up to your room. You kicked the door closed after you walked in. You placed Nightmare and Fredbear on your bed, then began to take all the plushies out of the box, setting them out. There were definitely more of them than you had before. Fredbear shifted into his normal form first, then Nightmare. You stared up at them. You went over to Fredbear and gently touched your small hand to his stomach. You then touched Nightmare's arm. You were amazed that you could actually touch them. You thought you might have been going crazy from being in that hospital room. Nightmare chuckled at your fascination.
