Reese rolled his suitcase through the airport, slowly making his way towards the exit. He was looking down at his phone texting Shaun for what felt like the hundredth time. He got straight off from his shift and went home to pack his bag so he could catch a flight to Atlanta. He hadn't told his lover that he was making an appearance in his city tonight, so he had to pay for the hotel on his own dime. He hated to spend his money, but this was one of the extenuating circumstances. Shaun had been acting real funny lately, and Reese had to assume it was because of their previous conversations. Shaun always had the tendency to run from things he didn't want to do, without saying he didn't want to do it.
"Hello? Oh hey girl, yes I made it. I'm going to his job in the morning when I get up, this motherfucker really think I'm something to play with"
"Reese, maybe its just time you let whatever this thing is go" It was his bestfriend, Jeremy on the phone.
Reese hated to admit it out loud because it went against everything he believed in, but Shaun had a hold on him. He was madly in love with the man, and he didn't want anything between the two of them to come to an end. He hated the way some of their arguments made him feel like he was a secret, but he loved the feeling he got when they were together. Shaun was his drug, his kryptonite, and Reese refused to let that high slipped through the cracks.
"Jer, we've talked about this. Just let me handle it my way, pretty soon we'll both be together in Atlanta and youll be visiting our brand new home"
Jeremy scoffed lowly, but not low enough for Reese to miss it. Jeremy never hid his distaste for Shaun, and he was always there to let his friend know he was being stupid as hell. Jeremy too liked men, but he stayed away from men who didn't know what they really wanted. For him, it was either you were gay, or you liked pussy. He ran into his fair share of men that liked both, but they only wanted to be seen in public with their women. This whole situation-ship his bestfriend had with this man had definitely left a sour ass taste in his mouth many times.
"Look, I love you and I'll talk to you later" Reese ended the call before Jeremy could respond.
He hated how bad Jeremy talked about Shaun, it rubbed him the wrong way, but that was only because what his bestfriend was telling him was all real shit. This trip would either make or break their relationship, Reese had a feeling there was more going on but he wanted to see it for himself.

"I just wanted to say I appreciate you for doing what you did for my daughter. You didn't have to do that, anything you ever need you make sure to get at me" Saint shook CJ's hand as they stood next to a UHaul truck outside of Denver's new home. She managed to get the new owners to pay for all of the extra fees and closing costs, and she couldn't be happier with her purchase.
Denver, Althea, Saint, and CJ spent the morning helping her move all of her brand new furniture into her home, now they were planning to go back to the place she and Semaj shared to collect the rest of her things. Saint had been waiting for this moment, he was itching to get his hands on Semaj. Denver made him promise to just keep everything cordial, but that was just going to be the one promise he would have to break.
"Alright dad, me and CJ are going to ride in the UHaul. You and mama just follow us okay?"
"Okay baby girl, Thea bring yo behind on girl" Althea was so busy gawking at every square foot of the home, she had missed their whole conversation.
"Oh whatever Saint I'm coming damn" She closed the door behind her and locked it with the brand new set of keys Denver had given to them. Descending down the stairs, she looked at her husband with a mug and playfully rolled her eyes. Saint opened the passenger door for her, smacking her on the butt before she hopped into the truck giggling.
