Roxy still pressed her face into my chest and continued to cry. "It's my fault. It's my fault." said the female wolf in a whiny voice.

I gently pulled Roxanne closer into my arms, wrapped my tail around her and continued to stroke her back. "No it wasn't your fault Roxy. Please calm down and stop crying." said I in a loving voice.

"Am...am I a good mother?" Roxy asked and looked at me with sad shining eyes. A few tears rolled down her cheeks. She sniffled.

"Of course you're a good mother." answered I, looking gently into her sad shining eyes. "There is no better mother for Melissa than you Roxy."

"Oh Bruno, thank you. You're so nice to me." said the female wolf, smiling slightly as a tear rolled down her cheek. She gently rubbed her head against my head for a moment.

Sarah was still sitting on the floor playing with the plushies. She remained silent the entire time and clutched her golden plush Roxanne tightly.

Roxy looked to Sarah. "Are you okay my little winner?" the female wolf asked the girl worriedly.

Sarah nodded. "Yes, I'm okay. I...I was just scared when the rabbit lady suddenly grabbed me and held the knife to my neck." answered the girl.

I twitched my right ear and sank into thought. Who was this white rabbit lady? Who is in this scary rabbit costume? Maybe...maybe Officer Vanessa?

I was brought out of my thoughts when Roxanne gently pressed her nose to my cheek.

"Don't be scared Sarah." said I in a soft voice to the girl. "Me and Roxy are here to protect you."

Melissa was asleep but the little one was still turning around on the couch restlessly in pain.

Sarah looked to Melissa with wide eyes. "Is she going to die?" asked she.

"No Melissa won't die! She won't die! Why are you asking that?!" yelled Roxanne loudly and angrily at Sarah while her tail wagged wildly in anger. I gently placed my hand on the female wolf's shoulder.

Sarah was startled because Roxanne had yelled at her so loudly and angrily. The girl looked a little sad and turned away.

Roxanne let her ears hang and looked at the floor then went to Sarah and sat on the floor next to her. She gently pulled the girl into her arms. "Oh Sarah my little winner, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you. I...I'm just worried about Melissa." said the female wolf. Sarah nodded and snuggled up to Roxanne.

"Everything will be fine." said I and looked to the two.

Roxy gently stroked Sarah's head then got up from the floor and sat on the couch to Melissa.

I sat down on the couch next to Roxy. The female wolf rested her head on my shoulder.

"Roxy...I think we have to do something. Vanny and her endoskeletons are going to kill a lot more children if we don't do something." said I to the female wolf.

Roxanne sighed and closed her eyes briefly. "I know." she snuggled closer to me. "But what should we do? We can't fight them."

"You're right Roxy. Vanny just has too many endoskeletons to fight them all." said I. "But...maybe we could take away the remote control she uses to control the skeletons?"

As Roxanne wanted to answer me, the room door opened and Freddy and Gregory entered the room. "Hello." said the bear kindly and smiled.

"Hello Freddy hello Gregory." said I kindly back smiling back. "Where are Bonnie and Chica? And...where are Sarah's friends?"
