Chapter 37

🐶Bruno🐶

I entered the first aid station with the injured Officer Vanessa and began to carefully treat her bleeding head wound and then carefully bandage the wound. After I treated her wound she felt better and was fully conscious again.

"Thank you, Bruno. Thank you. You're a good dog." she said gratefully to me.

I smiled. "No problem. Let's go to Rockstar Row." said I then to the security guard.

Officer Vanessa nodded slightly. I left the first aid station with her and then made my way to Rockstar Row with her. Because she felt better now, she didn't have to lean on my shoulder again.

As I entered Rockstar Row with the security guard I saw Roxy, Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Gregory and Melissa sitting on the bench.

Roxy overjoyed, got up from the bench and ran to me. "Bruno, you're back and..." she fell silent in shock as she look at me. "Oh Bruno..." lots of tears gathered in her eyes and she sniffled. The others sitting on the bench also looked at my torn chest in shock.

My torn chest and missing skeletal parts probably looked pretty bad. My injured arm no longer hurt but I couldn't move my arm properly. I twitched my ears and looked lovingly at Roxy.

"Don't worry, I'm okay. The Pizzaplex is safe now again." I said smiling. Then I looked at Officer Vanessa who was standing next to me. "And our security guard is as friendly as she always is."

Roxanne flattened her ears and growled angrily when she saw that Officer Vanessa was wearing the Vanny costume. "You? You've been that stupid rabbit lady the whole time!" yelled the female wolf at the security guard, baring her teeth. Chica narrowed her eyes angrily. Gregory, Melissa, Freddy and Bonnie looked at each other and then looked at Officer Vanessa.

The security guard took an uncertain step back because Roxanne bared her teeth. "I'm very sorry, what I did wasn't my intention. I was brainwashed but I was able to break free thanks to Bruno." Officer Vanessa said.

Roxanne stopped growling and stopped baring her teeth. Chica looked at her hands.

I placed my right hand on the security guard's shoulder. "Now everything is okay again." said I.

"Bruno is a hero. He is a hero." said Bonnie cheerfully and clapped his hands. Freddy, Chica and Gregory joined in the cheering.

I wagged my brown dog tail. "Well the safety of the Pizzaplex is important." said I, scratching my head in embarrassment.

Roxanne looked lovingly into my eyes and gave me a tender kiss on the cheek. "You really are a brave hero my sweet Bruno." whispered she in my ear.

I blushed.

Freddy and Chica kissed deeply. Gregory looked at the two and grimaced in disgust.

Bonnie nudged the boy. "Why are you grimacing in disgust, buddy? Kissing is a beautiful thing. You and Megan kissed, after all." said the purple rabbit and giggled. Gregory blushed and looked like a ripe tomato.

Freddy, Bonnie and Chica laughed.

I stroked through Roxy's long silver hair with my right hand. She carefully snuggled into my torn chest and closed her eyes. "My hero." whispered she gently.

I thought I saw tears in Officer Vanessa's eyes. "I..I'm so incredibly sorry." said she. "I am so sorry."

Freddy got up from the bench and walked over to the security guard. His blue eyes radiated kindness. "It wasn't your fault Officer Vanessa you were brainwashed that's why you did all these horrible acts." said the bear. "We all forgive you."

"Really?" asked Officer Vanessa in a sad voice.

"Yes, we all forgive you." Roxy, Bonnie, Chica and I said at the same time.

Gregory got up from the bench and hugged Officer Vanessa. "After all, you're like a mother to me, so I forgive you too." said the boy, smiling. Officer Vanessa was happy about Gregory's hug. Then we all did a gentle group hug.

"Hopefully the endoskeletons will stay in the utility tunnels now." said Chica and snuggled up to Freddy.

Little Melissa was still sitting very shyly on the bench, looking at Officer Vanessa in silence and playing with the corner of her T-shirt. The security guard looked gently at the little girl. "Who are you, sweetie?" asked she.

"This is Melissa." said Roxanne, sitting down on the bench close to the girl and gently wrapping her silver tail around the little one.

Melissa smiled slightly.

I twitched my ears.

"My sweet little Melissa." then the female wolf gently pressed her nose to the little girl's cheek.

"The little one was abandoned here at the Pizzaplex by her parents, so me and Roxy are now Melissa's parents." said I to the security guard. "Melissa is our little daughter."

Officer Vanessa nodded with a gentle smile. "Well then the little one has found very perfect parents. You two will be able to take good care of her." said she.

"Yes, me and Bruno are the best parents in the world." said the female wolf. She sneezed lightly.

I looked at Roxanne lovingly then we kissed briefly and tenderly. "I love you Roxy." said I in a soft voice to her.
"I love you too my sweet hero." said Roxanne in a soft voice back.

Then I went to Parts and Service with Officer Vanessa so she could repair my broken chest and broken left arm.

(Two days later)

I sat on the bench on Rockstar Row with Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Gregory, Melissa and Officer Vanessa and relaxed. Roxanne handed out the Raceway registration sheets to the children. I was glad that Roxy had recovered from the slight cold and was no longer sneezing.

Gregory was flipping through a Fazbear comic book and Melissa was eating a Bruno popsicle.

Bonnie stretched with pleasure. "Oh, what a wonderful day. So calm and beautiful and no more endoskeletons," said the purple rabbit and then adjusted his sunglasses.

Suddenly I saw Samantha walking towards Roxanne. I thought the girl wanted to bully her again but the girl hugged the female wolf. Samantha had accepted Roxy's apology. Roxanne's tail wagged back and forth as she hugged the girl.

"I'm so happy you forgive me, Samantha." said Roxy through tears of joy.

I smiled.
