As Roxy and I stood in front of the wooden door, we heard the happy laughter and shouts of children playing and having fun in the playground.

I smiled lovingly at the female wolf for a moment and then knocked on the door. The friendly yellow sun man opened the door and was happy to see us.

"My best friend Bruno and Bruno's girlfriend Roxanne, it's nice that you both come to my amazing fun Superstar Daycare." said Sunny in a happy giggling voice. "Do you lovebirds want to play hide and seek?"

"Yep, we feel like playing hide and seek." answered I with a smile. Roxy nodded and then sneezed slightly. I think Roxanne caught a mild cold. I gently pulled the female wolf into my arms.

"Great, great, great then let's start playing hide and seek. I'm counting." said Sunny hopping from one leg to the other.

Bonnie waved to me with a smile and I waved back with a smile. Little Melissa ran to the female wolf and hugged her. "How are you Mommy Roxy?" asked the girl.

Roxanne's tail wagged when she saw Melissa. "Oh I'm fine, I'm very fine." answered she, seeming to stifle another sneeze.

Some children played in the large ball pit, crawled through the two climbing towers or sat at the tables painting pictures or making small figures out of cardboard.

Five children looked at the gray female wolf and suddenly started laughing. Roxy's eyes lit up sadly as she saw the children laughing at her. She sniffled. "These kids don't like me. I should leave." Roxy said and turned to leave the daycare.

"Don't go Roxy." said I in a soft voice and held the female wolf gently the arm then pulled her closer to me and briefly pressed my nose against her cheek. "These kids like you, believe me. They just laugh because your hair is still a little wet and looks a little weird." then I wrapped my dog tail lovingly around her wolf tail. Roxy snuggled into my chest and closed her eyes.

"I...I look like...like a hell monster don't I?" said Roxanne, whimpering. A few tears flowed from her eyes down her cheek.

I carefully and gently wiped away her tears. "You look like a beautiful, wonderful wolf, my pretty Roxy." whispered I in her ear. She snuggled closer to my chest and smiled, sniffling slightly. "Thank you for your kind words my sweet dog." said the female wolf.

Sundrop looked at the five children with his arms crossed. "We don't laugh at anyone. It's mean to laugh at someone." said the yellow sun man in a stern voice. The five children immediately stopped laughing and felt ashamed. "Sorry Mr. Sun." they said at the same time.

I held Roxanne gently in my arms and looked at her lovingly. She's just stunningly pretty, even with wet hair she was still pretty.

"Well. Now just don't ever laugh at anyone again, do you five little sunshines understand that?" said Sunny to the five children. All five children nodded.

Sunny happily hopped over to the tables and examined the children's painted pictures and crafts. He took one of the painted pictures in his hand. "Wow that picture would look wonderful on the fridge. Well done." said the yellow sun man. Sunny's sunbeams briefly turned in circles.

"Can we finally play hide-and-seek now or have you forgotten that we wanted to play hide-and-seek?" Melissa asked the yellow sun man with a brief giggle. The little girl stood next to Bonnie, clutching a silver Roxy plushie tightly.

I looked at my yellow sun friend and grinned. Roxanne gently nestled her head under my chin. Her hair felt so soft and wasn't actually that wet anymore.

☀️Sundrop☀️

I put the painted picture back with the other painted pictures and then looked to little Melissa. "Oh yes of course we can play hide and seek now." answered I her. "Who wants to play hide and seek with us?"
