Chapter 24

🐔Chica🐔

Roxy was poking at her piece of cake with her fork the whole time and her ears drooped sadly.

"What's the matter Roxy? Don't you like the strawberry cake?" asked I the female wolf.

"I...I don't feel like eating cake right now." said Roxy in a sad voice. "Maybe later."

I looked at Roxy's piece of strawberry cake with greedy eyes. "Um...can I have your piece of cake if you don't want to eat it?" asked I Roxanne.

The female wolf pushed the plate towards me without saying a word. "Thanks." said I happily and immediately devoured the piece of cake.

"We have to leave over a piece of strawberry cake for Bruno." said Sarah to her parents.

Roxanne tried to hold back the sobs and briefly closed her eyes.

Roxanne got up from the bench and took little Melissa by the hand and wanted to go back to Rockstar Row with the little one.

I then got up from the bench as well, followed the female wolf and gently held her arm. She looked at me with sad eyes.

"Roxy I know how much you miss Bruno." said I to her. "But today is Sarah's birthday and you are her favorite character at the Pizzaplex so you should spend time with her and make sure her birthday is a memorable one."

Roxanne sniffled and looked away. "I...I don't want to ruin Sarah's birthday because of my sadness." said she.

I gently placed my hand on the female wolf's shoulder. "You won't ruin her birthday." said I in a soft voice.

Melissa clung to Roxy's leg and gently stroked her silver tail.

Sarah cheerfully went to Roxy. "Can we go to the beauty salon now?" she asked looking up at the female wolf. The girl happily clutched her golden plush Roxanne.

Roxy nodded, smiling slightly, trying to hide her sadness.

I smiled and then sat back down on the bench with the others. Roxanne entered the Roxy Raceway area with Sarah and Melissa.

When I was at the raceway area with the two girls, we walked into the beauty salon. Sarah gave the voucher to a bot standing at the front of the counter.

Sarah sat down in one of the chairs in front of a mirror. I took a hairbrush and cosmetics stuff out of a shelf.

"Can you so make me up so I look like you?" asked Sarah me.

"Sure I can." answered I and started brushing Sarah's hair.

Melissa walked around the salon, found a plush Roxanne and put it on another chair

After brushing Sarah's hair, I started putting makeup on the girl.

I looked to little Melissa and twitched my right ear. "What are you doing?" asked I the little one with a soft smile.

Melissa put makeup on the plush Roxanne. "I want to do what you do, too, Mommy Roxy." the little one answered and happily jumped up and down.

Sarah giggled.

I went to Melissa and took the cosmetic box from the little girl. "These are not toys my sweet little one." said I in a soft voice then I picked up the little girl and carefully sat her in a small ball pit. "You can play here." then I went back to Sarah to continue put her makeup.

Melissa played in the small ball pit.

I took purple lipstick and green nail polish and finished Sarah's makeup.
