🐶Bruno🐶

I looked away and let my ears droop. "Roxy...I'm...I'm very, very sorry for lying to you." said I to the female wolf, whimpering. "I didn't want to play with your feelings."

Roxy gently turned my face back to her and looked at me softly. "I'm not angry at you Bruno. Just don't ever lie to me again. You can always tell me the truth, you know that." she snuggled into my chest. My cheeks immediately turned red. Then the female wolf looked to the bear and said. "I'm angry at you, you idiot! How dare you tell my sweet Bruno to lie to me?! Would you just lie to Chica?"

Freddy hung his head, looked at the floor and didn't answer. Roxanne growled and Freddy seemed afraid that the female wolf would pull his ear again. "I'm sorry Roxy." he then said. "Of course I wouldn't just lie to Chica, I love her too much for that."

Roxanne looked at the bear with a cold gaze and then rested her head on my shoulder.

"But...Roxy...it would be better if me and Bruno go into the underground cave without you." said Freddy then hesitantly. The female wolf growled and took a step towards the bear. "I won't let my Bruno go this underground cave with you alone, what don't understand about that you idiot bear?! I'll come with you both!" she yelled at him angrily.

Freddy twitched his ears and his eyes blinked briefly in shock. "Don't be so loud or you'll wake up the others." said he.

I sighed quietly. I had to agree with Freddy because I also thought that Roxy shouldn't come with us into the underground cave. I...I was very afraid that something might happen to her down there in the cave. But I will protect her...I will protect her from everything.

"I'm coming with you two to the underground cave!" Roxanne said again, flattening her ears. I gently pulled the female wolf into my arms. She gently rubbed her nose against my cheek for a moment.

"Okay, okay, okay." said the bear with a sigh.

"We need to wake up Gregory and tell him to look after little Melissa in Roxy's room." said I. Roxanne gently wrapped her tail around my tail.

Me, Roxy and Freddy went into Freddy's room. Gregory lay on the couch and slept. The bear shook him slightly. "Wake up." said he.

The boy opened his eyes sleepily. "Huh? What's wrong Freddy? I want to go back to sleep, I'm so tired." said he in a sleepy voice and wanted to close his eyes again.

Freddy gently shook the boy again to prevent him from falling asleep. "Gregory? Gregory? You have to look after little Melissa in Roxy's room." said the bear, hoping Gregory was awake.

"Why?" the boy asked.

"Well...me, Roxy and Freddy need to go into the underground and take a closer look down this cave." answered I him.

In an instant, Gregory was wide awake. "What? I want to come with you three. I don't want to have to constantly look after Melissa. I'm not a babysitter!" said the boy and looked at his bear father.

Roxanne rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Please Gregory, please take care of little Melissa. I...I'll be riding around on the space roller coaster with you all day tomorrow, but please take care of her. Please." the bear begged the boy and his blue eyes looked at him super sweetly.

"You promise him that you'll ride the space roller coaster with him all day tomorrow? Is that a lie or are you keeping your promise?" Roxanne asked the bear, narrowing her eyes.

"I promise him. I will keep my promise." Freddy said to Roxy and then looked back at Gregory.

Gregory then nodded and get up from the couch. "Okay fine, I'll take care of the little one." said he.
