Oh how the tables have turned

Kate is, delightfully, pressed up against a wall playing tonsil tennis with the hot girl in a short dress, and Charlie and Polly high-five when they see her.

They wait for a break in their snog for Polly to interject (because Nick has taken this as a sign that he and Charlie should give the pair a run for their money) and once she's swapped phone numbers with said hot girl, the four of them make their way out of the club.

"We didn't mean to coax you away," Charlie says sheepishly as he shakily types in Nick's password into his phone so he can order them an Uber. "Sorry."

"Honestly, I think it was a blessing," Kate says through chattering teeth. "She'd asked me to the bathroom, like, three times. I don't think I'm ready for that."
"Oh shit," Polly says, biting her lip. "Was she alright about it?"
"Yeah, fine. I think she's in her third year." She turns to Nick. "Did you recognise her?"
Nick, who is currently struggling to keep his eyes open, frowns. "Maybe. Name?"
Kate winces. "I'm not actually sure."
"You have her number though, right?"
"Um, yeah."
"Input it in Whatsapp and the name will appear," Polly says smugly. "This ain't my first rodeo."
"Polly's a genius!" Nick yells, flinging his arm back in the air.

It almost takes Charlie out and he squawks, fisting his hand in the front of Nick's t-shirt to stop them both from tumbling off the pavement.
"I can't wait until you're asleep."

Nick's mouth drops open, outraged, and he lets out a camp little sound that has them all cackling. " Hey. I thought you loved me." Then, he leans into Charlie's space and stage whispers, "I thought we were going to have sex. I want to make you feel good."
"Okay, baby." Charlie pats his belly and avoids meeting his flatmates' eyes as they snigger. "We'll talk about this when we get home."

Blissfully, their Uber pulls up just a few seconds later and they all clamber inside. Nick falls asleep on Charlie's shoulder mere seconds into the drive.

It takes them about fifteen minutes to get back to campus, and Charlie begins to shake Nick awake as the now-familiar tower blocks of accommodation come into view.

"Come on, love," he coaxes. "Wake up, we're home."

Nick sniffles as he wakes up. "Love you," he mumbles, turning his face into Charlie's shoulder. Charlie winds his arm around his back and kisses his forehead.
"Love you too. Come on, out we go."

They get out of the car and thank the driver, then they head up to their accommodation. Kate opens the door and Charlie carefully manoeuvres Nick into the lift, squeezing his hand every few seconds to make sure he stays awake. Once they finally get inside their flat, they all bid each other a quick goodnight and head towards their respective bedroom doors.

Nick flings himself through the door and his hands immediately fly to his jeans, unbuttoning and stripping them from his legs before Charlie's even across the threshold. He snorts.

"Babe, come on. You'll scare poor Polly and poor Kate."
"I'm sleepy," Nick mumbles, hands fighting to get his rugby jumper off his body.

He only gets it a little bit tangled over his head before he manages to get it off completely, dumping it to the floor next to his jeans. When he finally emerges, his face is adorably confused. "Do you want to have sex?"
"With you right now?" Charlie asks, raising an eyebrow.

Nick sits on the edge of the bed and opens his arms, but he's swaying and it looks like he can barely keep his eyes open.

"I'll pass. Sorry, baby."

Nick pouts, but he nods then leans back against the pillows, eyes already falling shut. He doesn't even make the effort to get under the duvet. "S'ok. We can have sex tomorrow."
"Yeah, love," Charlie chuckles. He's still fully dressed, and by the time he's locked the door and turned on his bedside lamp, Nick's fast asleep, snoring away loudly, his whole body sprawled across the single bed. He makes quick work of stripping down to his pants and brushing his teeth, then he tiptoes over to the bed and tries to work out how the hell he's going to get in next to Nick.
