A Sorta-Kinda Broken Heart

"I can't believe this!" Diana practically yelled, slamming her phone down on the table. Fay wandered into the room, still in her baggy pajamas.

"What?" she asked, flopping onto the end of Diana's bed.

"Hotch called, we have a case. I have to leave, like, now," she explained in a rush.

"Aww, but we're missing cousin time!" Fay cried out. Diana shrugged as she threw some shirts into her duffel bag.

"I was under the impression when I invited you here that I had a day off," Diana said through gritted teeth as she stuffed in some jeans and zipped it up. "Sorry, Fay." She threw the bag over her shoulder and gave the girl a quick hug. She yelled "Love you!" and ran out the door.  

She got into her car in record time, and before long she was in front of her workplace. Diana ran through the halls and crashed into Spencer.

"H-hi," she gasped, trying to catch her breath. Emily laughed from her perch on JJ's desk.

"Wow, Spencer, you took her breath away!" she giggled. Diana rolled her eyes and threw her bag down.

"Are we going over the case?" she asked. Hotch shook his head as he walked in.

"No time," he said quickly. "We need to go, now. C'mon."

They were walking down the hall, all in a group in front of Diana when she heard Spencer yell out and the girls giggling.  She caught up, wanting to be in on the joke.

"What happened?" she asked. JJ turned to her laughing.

"Morgan's threatening to sign Spence up for eHarmony," she said through her laughter.

Diana instantly felt remorse for Spence-Fay'd done the exact same thing to her.

"Aww," she said, laughing despite herself. Morgan clapped him on the shoulder.

"Tell you what, Pretty Boy," he said. "If you can get a date before next Friday, I'll let you off the hook." Spencer agreed with him and Diana was thinking about how it was Cass's lucky day when she heard her name.

"Diana, want to go on a date with me?" he asked. She nodded with her mouth open out of shock, and he turned back to Morgan.

"Done," he told him before walked ahead to talk to JJ. Morgan fell into step with Diana, who was grinning in spite of herself.

"Thoughts?" he asked as she watched Spencer. She giggled.

"He thinks he's so badass," she said. He sighed.

"I don't hear you disagreeing."

About thirty minutes later they were on the plane. Diana was reading the case file and thought she had something when her thoughts were interrupted by JJ's cry.
